I saw this band at 328 Performace Hall in Nashville in 1993 (one of the best shows I ever witnessed in that venue). I'm a musician, and my wife never got to see me play back in those days. A couple of years ago, some of my musician friends and I got together in a home studio and recorded this song with me on lead vocals. That was a surprise birthday present for my wife. She cried harder upon hearing it than she did when I proposed!

I loved this band when they first came out, I'm from Austin, so I got to see them in their prime back in the day a few times. I'm so glad they reunited, they are great artists and have great music to share. Doyle and Charlie are Austin music legends in my opinion.

Doyle frick'n BRAMHALL, baby - the baddest guitar player most of us have never heard of!!!
Dear GOD, this guy can play. I could literally just kick back and listen to him jam from here to eternity.
How the heck does he play with such fluidity, given the awkward positioning of the guitar strings?!?
Thank you dear Lord, for your Son Jesus Christ, and Doyle Bramhall.

I bought this CD before seeing A.A. play at the Akron Agora. Sass Jordon opened up for them an blew the roof off of the place. I knew the Angels had their work cut out for them. They took the stage and an hour later everyone was an Angels fan. The mix of a dual guitars and dual vocals was stunning. Met the guys back stage and they were as cool as could be. Bramhal II reminds others of Hendrix, not me, he's the SRV that they think John Meyer is. How Doyle isn't a superstar is astounding. He's not getting proper label support. But the ARC Angels is defiantly a dessert island CD. Damn, guys, PLEASE give us more music.

It's pleasing to know that great music still exists today... it's hidden beneath the static of the music industry, but it's still there. You guys are the ones that deserve to be making millions with your talent, not that no-talent shit that's being played on the radio. Good music is good for the mind and soul, and I could never thank you enough for all that your music has gotten me through. I ♥ yall..
