I never bought Alcohol Markers because they were too expensive and I knew I wouldn't use them as much but Ohuhu Markers are super affordable and great quality. I have a set of 100 Ohuhu alcohol markers. I need to get some of those gel plates. I also need to try dropping some drops of alcohol and making some new designs. Thank you for this video 😊
OH THAT'S AMAZING!! check out the video I did after that using the markers on Yupo paper to create flowers, you don't need a gel plate for that technique

Such a huge selection. You are so patient. I never swatch. So these are a yes?
I never swatch either but I couldn't figure out the shade of the color from the cap lol. it was actually relaxing and didn't take that long. I was watching TV while doing it. I really liked these markers if you're looking for alcohol markers, I like the quality for the price. I never found it worth it to by Copics for 5-8 dollars a marker. that's just too expensive for me.

Love it, now i know what to do with all the alcohol markers i have. Only my paper sticks on my gel plate. Do you know what i am doing wrong?
Hi Sandra, I honestly don't know why your paper sticks to your plate. can you tell me more information. LIke are you using a gel plate or a hard plastic plate. what paper are you using? what paint? how long are you leaving it on? etc I would need more details if I needed to help you

I have a plate from gelpress. I use acrylic paint from Talens Amsterdam and bleiswijck Holland and copic paper but also other paper. I try to let it dry all the way or when it still a little bit wet. I read somewhere that it can be because of the paper, if wood glue is used in the paper. So I'm going to try it with some other paper as well. But the weird thing is that a few years ago I had no problems. It's really a recent thing. I also cleaned my gell plate and treated it with baby oil.
I've watched a lot of videos and never seen the problem so I don't get it anymore. But it's such a shame.
Sandra it looks like everything you're using is the right thing to use. It could be the paper but the only way to know that for sure is to try different ones and see. Its hard to know if I'm not there with you. I didn't use copic paper for mine, I used regular 90 or 100lbs cardstock and I think printer paper or deli paper works really well too. Maybe copic paper is different?
After buying a few individual Ohuhu markers from their Honolulu line, I recently purchased a set of 24 markers (also Honolulu) for only $19.99. Their markers are great! I prefer the Brush & Chisel, but they also offer the same markers in Brush & Fine Point. Very high quality, and their customer service is unparalleled. My *only* complaint is their shipping charge - $8.99 - is high, especially if you only want to order a few markers. It's not based on price or weight; it's a flat rate.
oh so glad to hear! I love the brush and chisel which is what I got. I guess I live in Canada so. I always have to pay shipping and 8.99 is pretty good although for a few markers its not worth it. however the sets are so affordable that if you get them then the flat rate shipping is pretty good.
Will sharpies work?
You can try they might not be as smooth and not sure if they will fully react to the isopropyl alcohol. I have tried sharpies on yupo before with alcohol and it didn’t give me the same effect. Copics, spectrum noir are comparable
How can you say these are so affordable? I can't even get the cheapest ones since I'm in Canada (like you).
Prices to alcohol markers like Copics are very expensive. It comes to 8 dollars a marker sometimes. These in comparison are super affordable and quality compares to copics. I linked to amazon Canada below so you can get in Canadian follars
I don’t understand the gel plate. Why not work directions onto paper since you only get one print?
there's so many techniques you can do with a gel plate. its just fun and another form of creativity.

Therapy for 2-3 years and it really helped to the point that I don't need to see her anymore as when I get a trigger, I know what to do. It is a learning process and sometimes hard as life's rollercoaster goes up and down but I learn to live with my many blessings and feel grateful for the life I was given even with the difficult times.
