Thanks a lot, Mr. Doyle. I thought I had a great itinerary set for my trip to Japan in January but after watching this video I’ve now booked a couple of days at this place!
Wow! That is breath taking. What a wonderful place to experience Paddy and Miss P. Enjoy! But then again there are there watermelon domed buildings at 12:48 in this video and that my friend is well worth the trip on its own!
Welcome to Japan, Paddy. I'm Japanese. I've been enjoying your videos for the last couple of years. Little did I expect you would come to Japan for traveling. I'm really glad you enjoyed the sights of my country.
We went on a different side of Mt Fuji to Hakone which had some nice views as well (only 15 minutes of non-clouds for us). Nothing as good as the bridge/drone footage or timelapse I saw you had. We might try what you did next time. Excited to see what you do in the next video.
Nice slice f life in Japan. Thank you Paddy and Miss P. Looking forward to your Kyoto experience . . . Aoy and I stayed there at a very cool place, a traditional Japanese lodging on a secluded lane very close to the national park, for a few days on a stopover to Thailand from Toronto Canada. Gotta love that! dcb
Stunningly beautiful place! I went to an onsen in the area which had a waterfall. I forgot the name as my Japanese friends took me there. If you go in April some of the trees are a stunning pink and lavender in color. I am loving this series so far. Looking forward to seeing you guys in Kyoto!
My daughter lives in Japan and over the past 6 years I’ve been fortunate enough to spend a lot of time in all parts of the country. Japan is a very popular destination and it’s unique and beautiful - but not for everyone. Sticking to the high volume tourist attractions will guarantee higher prices and crowds. That doesn’t mean they aren’t worth visiting and appreciating them for what they are.
Hi Paddy! Great video. We’ve been watching your videos for a long time, and before we started our own channel we have always looked at your channel as inspiration and motivation. Your videos are always so clean and professional looking. You really deserve more subs than you have. Cheers 🍻
Lovely views! This is definitely on the bucket list, for sure. I plan to stop in Tokyo and other Japanese bucket list spots regularly once I settle in Chiang Mai as part of my annual spring trips back home. Looking forward to seeing more of your take on the country. Cheers!
Thank you for sharing! What time did you all make it up to chureito pagoda? My husband and I will be visiting in December and want to avoid the big crowds! 😊
Thanks Paddy & Miss P, we are planning a trip to Japan from Aus same time next year. Being in the planning faze, great timing 😊. I now want to visit the lake. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more of Japan. Keen subscriber for a few years 👍
I just came back from a couple of weeks around Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Himeji, and Arima Onsen.... I have a love/hate relationship with Japan...the peaceful places are quite beautiful, and I love the rare local experiences, but the tourism and gouging is fairly horrible... I had some very memorable times 20+ years ago travelling with my then partner and family which could never be experienced as a tourist....My favourite experiences were my 1st view of Fuji san from the ocean ferry crossing to Shizuoka after visiting Shimoda... A stay in an amazing Ryokan with its own cable car and rotemburo, alongside kaiseki for dinner and breakfast...and a trip around shikoku visiting so many places, but also a rare glimpse into traditional off the grid life living in an original straw/mud house by a friends family!... Japplan is supposedly much cheaper to visit now, but nothing beat the freshly hand made 100 yen udon with tempura and sudachi on in a small local restaurant by paddy fields in shikoku... I'm back next April flying into Kansai and need to work out a plan to visit Fuji san again...
Damn, that was awesome. Totally reminded me of my trip there August '91! Actually climbed Fuji-san overnight for the sunrise, then hit the Fujiyoshida fire festival the next day. You might schedule your climb around that. You bring back great memories, and I'm sure you are making your own with "Miss P".... I gotta take my daughter there (not climbing Fuji again, once a wise man, twice a fool). Thanks Mr. Doyle!
You’re top notch Paddy. And your girlfriend is beautiful. Thank you for another lovely video. This is one of the coolest mountains in the world. And what a beautiful lake. I want to see the bullet train ride Lồ. Take care mate😎
Did you get a chance to fly your drone anywhere on this trip? I will be there in a couple of days for 2 weeks and contemplating of bringing a drone. I read all the rules online but I feel like it’s not worth the hassle. Thanks!
I actually drank a bottle of Fiji water walking on mount Fuji that I bought in a Tokyo supermarket. Had my Fiji on Fuji 😂 Probably not the most environmentally friendly thing I've ever done since the tap water there is nice and my bottle was single use plastic and had travelled like 7000km 😞
It is a shame they let the trees grow so high at the pagoda. Back in 2018 they were a lot lower and you could see the whole pagoda from behind it. Feel they should have pruned them to keep them shorter. Shame that you didn’t get much clearer days…
Love the vids bro, you're one of the guys that got me in to traveling. The socks bro, the socks!!! If you gonna wear the G-pa sock, at least put some color in you life!!! LOL If you need me to send you some; I'm more than happy to take one for the team. If you make you way to DFW TX hit me up, I'll take you and Miss P to Dinner. Thanks again for the vids TX Navy Guy
Paddy, if you are still in the north Elephant nature park need Drone pilots urgently to help locate up to 30 elephants that have been washed away and missing. Please help, would make great content also and may drive some donations
isn' t there a need to mention if you are using someone else' s clips in your video? I understand that it sucks when view is ruined due to the weather conditions, just asking
Thanks a lot, Mr. Doyle. I thought I had a great itinerary set for my trip to Japan in January but after watching this video I’ve now booked a couple of days at this place!
Nice vid. It’s on my list. One question-WTF is going on with the knee socks? 🤔
I enjoyed this episode ,so nice to see you and Miss P ,enjoying time together, in such a beautiful location.
Miss P is the perfect added spice to any video. Love seeing you too hanging out together
You two are lovely together ❤

Looks awesome, especially through your lens. Can't wait to see it since I'm working my way in that direction from Okinawa.

Compared to Thailand, the weather in Japan is very changeable, and the impression changes considerably depending on the season.

13:29 When you don't get the kiss you wanted, Were you hungry lad? Still wearing them high socks like a Japanese schoolgirl 😂
If you zoom in its even funnier 🤣 those socks are daft, I swear he's doing it for comments.
@@pilkoglazeburywarrior Maybe it's just his thing. Is he supporting some sort of football club?
@curiousnomadic I think he did badly at school and the teacher told him to pull his socks up. Nobody realised he would take it literally.
I am thinking to come after Bali
Beautiful ❤
Pull yer socks up 😂

I didn’t take my drone this trip
The Fuji water sold in the US does it come from this place? A stream in Mt Fuji ?
You're thinking of Fiji water, named for the Pacific island nation
@@brettfitzmaurice3317 Ok. Thanks.

@@PaddyDoyle. Was brilliant all the same I've been to Japan many times such an interesting place. Highly recommend Hakkaido in the north
I am traveling quite a bit and finding that there are too many of us (tourists). It is aggravating to be overcharged for everything .

If it's just stock footage, then no. If it's coming from a specific channel or something like that, then probably.
You are definitely an English teacher?😂
Come on paddy do us British a favour and stop pulling the socks right up 😑
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Bloody hell whats up with your socks 😅😅😅
your girlfriend don't look happy in this video or loving towards you
