Peugeot Landtrek 4X4 Pickup Truck [Genting Climb] - 150 HP & 350 Nm - Enough? | YS Khong Driving

Peugeot has recently launched the Lantrek 4X4 Pickup, and with 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque, it makes a nice workhorse/lifestyle machine.
It is well appointed, with high spec features not found in other trucks, and therefore presents a good value-for-money proposition.
As usual, we needed to take it up the mountain to see if it can make the cut - it delivers a lot despite the power plant being only 1.9 liters. To be honest, it won't make a good weekend car to go up Genting with my friends, but if I need to go off the beaten track, this Landtrek would certainly be worth considering.

it looks good and it's surprisingly well equiped at least it has six airbags rear cross-traffic alert and the blind spot monitor and the engine is responsive enough

The most impressive thing about this vehicle is that it made it back without breaking down. Cars already cannot, I certainly wouldn't trust Perancis folks to make a work truck.

Firstly, you do not compare a truck to a Vios. They are made for different usage - the truck can do much more than what the Vios can do in terms of goi g off road and carryi g capacity. Similarly the Vios can do so many thinga the truck cannot do, like offer better cornering or more comfort.

this is a sad truck. built just to be a headmarker for the pickup era.10 years late to the race, using even 20 years -30 years ago of tech.
btw if not mistaken ranger and other pickup can shift diff on the fly. if need to full stop then change better buy kembara. at least not gonna stranded unhelped since pug prone to breakdown.

I believe the others also use this or similar centre diff.
Shift on the fly is only from 2H to 4H.
Please show me one vehicle that can shift from 4H to 4L.
