Hi nice review. I like the bells and whistles of the car. Very impressive. The only thing that bothers me about not going full-on for the Landtrek is the Changan engine. It is super noisy. I was very happy when I saw you driving at speed on the highway. Sounds very agricultural. Maybe they should've spent more money on NVR? I heard that the vehicle was going to be released with 2 petrol engines too, but I guess they decided against it. The other thing I noticed was that the vehicle suspension is super hard off-road. Most reviews that I've watched you can hear the vibration in the reviewer's voice when driving off-road. I was confused why Peugeot that is part of the Stellantis group didn't opt for the Mitsubishi Triton engine like Fiat with the Fullback which is in essence a Triton. I much prefer the esthetics of the Landtrek over the Fullback, but the Mitsubishi engine in the Fullback is a major drawcard. Maybe it is not possible to cherry-pick individual parts from a vehicle in the group but rather a complete platform and then change it cosmetically, which probably makes financial sense.
Thanks a lot for the report in detail. Unfortunately not available in Europe. So I really thinking to import one by myself from Tunisia into Switzerland. But not sure about the quality, as the Landtrek for Tunisia is build in Tunisia as well. So might different quality as for SA. Do you know where the SA market vehicles are build? Thanks again for the nice report.
The SA models are from China. The build quality, in our opinion, was really good. I honestly couldn't find anything out of place, or standing out as cheap and nasty.
WOW i like this peugeot.i like everthing about it ..sadly i am still going for a brand new toyota as a french and the europens have finally cracked open the genie in my bottle .the genocide poltics. .proud to share the message with all my friends.
I have seen some problems in Peugeot manual it's smell clutch always whats the course of it .and about the radio change it this have gone more digital this days
An unproven new entrant with chassis and engine development outsourced (hence questionable manufacturer commitment - remember Mercedes?) is hardly a Hilux challenger
All the gadgets but a manual tint rearview mirror 😣. Consumption sounds hi for a 1.9. Ranger/Toyota more economical. Load bay/weight? Over priced. No off road demonstration worth mentioning. Warranty etc??
I am tempted, i think I will get one soon

No clutch issues when we tested and no local feedback either. The radio is all Digital with seamless Bluetooth connection to a compatible smart phone.
Serious Hilux challenger.
