I just love your videos. You explain and demonstrate so clearly and the music you play as you carry on is perfect. I do believe yours are in the top 5 of all the tutorials. I always feel inspired and, quite happy. Thank you so much.

I fill a tray with shaving foam, level it off, add ink and swirl then cover the tray with a piece of bridal tulle, nylon netting, cheesecloth or fiberglass screen material before I print. The tulle holds the foam in place and I can often get four good prints from one inking. The ‘stabilizer’ adds a bit of additional texture to the print. I’ve used a fingerprint tray to print file folders, a big hit as Christmas gifts!

I have known about this technique for ages and even bought shaving cream 2 months ago and STILL I haven't tried it! Jeez, I doing it tomorrow...I promise.

I liked them all, but I think the Lindy’s ones were my favourite because I’m do no lots of seaside/beach colours in my work at the moment

Thanks Teresa, have used shaving foam with drops of distress oxide re-inker (Natasha Foote), never thought of using sprays. Will need large piece of paper to work on! Have binge watched your Gelli plate tutorials, so much inspiration, am mow feeling confident enough to try this too.

I still have a spiralgraft. Guess I better get it out for card making!

I always use water based reinkers to do this technique. Of course, I bought my own little empty spray bottles and make my own spray inks from those same reinkers, too! Really pretty results. TFS.

What a great technique! It’s similar to those marble products but I’m so reluctant to get them because of the smell. (They’re so strong.)

drops of re-inkers or alcohol inks give similar results. you can add drops to your own spray bottle with water, too.

Does the shaving cream leave any sticky residue behind? I never tried this technique before.

Not really in my experience. I did this technique last year and they are beautiful marbled papers and still smell good.

I absolutely love this!! I can't wait to try it. Can you use a large regular size card stock for this project?

What black ink pad did you use to stamp the mermaid in? It’s so perfectly stamped and such a vibrant black. I love that card!

Thank you - I used Versafine Clair inkpads to do all the stamping on these cards. The black is called Nocturne.

    Hi Teresa,
This is just amazing and so lovely!!!
I don't have any spray ink yet. Wich one do you think I should start with ? For info, I am living in Belgium,...
Thank you so much for sharing,

Thank you! You should be able to find the Ranger Dylusions and Distress Oxide sprays easily. If you love bright colours then go for the Dylusions sprays, if you prefer more natural earthy tones then go for the Distress Oxide.

I know what the difference is between oxide and distress inks, but is there a difference between the oxide and distress sprays?
