So, after quite a long time the boss run is ready. And despite my not very good opinion of some of IGA's games (I still hate CV:OoE with a passion), I will say that I enjoyed this one. And of course, one of the things I enjoyed the most are bosses every single one of which you will see in this video. There not many self-imposed challenges here besides not taking damage. Well, one condition was to use only one type of weapons which I would find the most balanced one. And as usual with igavania boss runs one-handed swords fit this requirement fully (with only exception made for Gremory for obvious reasons). Another challenge was to never use magic attacks and techniques. Also I decided not to enable the hyper jump and only used ability shards that were necessary to progress. I tried not to overlevel but also adjusted my attack power before each boss so the fights would not be too long. Again, there is one exception - Bloodless. But only because I fought her too early. Oh, by the way - the order of bosses in the video is how I fought them while playing first time. Basically, my first playthrough was like this: reach the boss, record perfect fight, move on. Well, here is short description of what to expect. I hope you'll like this video. And maybe, some time later I will look into Nightmare mode. If bosses have additional attacks there or some are faster or something like that - I might record few more videos.

It's so dissapointing that in the new Bloodstained game, they remove the final attack mechanism, where the boss gives out one final blast while dying. Instead, all bosses fall and shatter into pieces
I have only one question: did the developers really abandon one of the game's landmark traits: glorious bosses' "suicidal desperate strikes" at the end of every battle? Because it is really the case... It is a pity. Great boss rush, though!
Here is the boss list in order: Vepar Zangetsu (First Time) Craftwork Andrealphus Valac Glutton Train Bathin Abyssal Guardian (who later becomes a regular enemy in the Den of Behemoths area in the game, and is also the only boss to do so in the game) Bloodless Alfred Doppelganger Orobas Zangestsu (Second Time/True Zangetsu) Gebel (who technically can be fought three times, the first one gets you the first Bad Ending, the second one gets you the Usurper ending, but the third one has to intentionally be stopped in order to go after Gremory) Valefar Harrier (a.k.a., the Blue Ninja) Gremory Master Carpenter Revenant Millionaire's Bane Eight Bit Overlord Orlok Drakule (a.k.a., O.D.) IGA Breeder (as part of the Kingdom Two Crowns/Major Update on January 14, 2021) Dominique Baldwin Bael.
Oh, and Harrier is merely a race rather than a straight up boss fight (think along the lines of the Squawk races from Donkey Kong Country 2: Dixie's Kong Quest/Donkey Kong Land 2). I also think that there is a Journey inspired boss as well that is called Leviathan, but it is a bunch of blocks that merely have a modified attack pattern of The Abyssal Guardian boss. I will modify this comment as more bosses are revealed in the game.
I had a weird time with the optional bosses. When fighting Iga, one time he did his vanishing trick and didn't reappear, forcing me to reload the game. The master carpenter remained doing his walking animation after dying, but I still got his shard and the door opened to let me out. Then the slot machine died in seconds before I could see its patterns (I read later that there's a chance for it to die instantly if some fruit combination comes up).
The only reason magic had to be used is because if they didn’t, they would take damage. But, they didn’t use magic on ones that didn’t need it. Works in my book.
Was anyone else surprised/delighted by the increasing difficulty of the Eight-Bit Overlord battle? You definitely couldn’t pull off a no damage run if that was done in an older game.
Millionaire's Bane or (The slot machine boss fight)- 1:15:33 If I remember correctly, after you've dealt enough damage to the boss to initiate his game of luck (I suppose?). If luck is on your side, then the boss may roll 3 sevens, which is a jackpot. This will have the boss spewing out COLLECTIBLE money for a bit. Though I don't remember if ALL the coins are gold ($100) or not.

You should try hard mode. Bosses have new attacks, and enhanced abilities. The Twin Dragons for example have a much wider flame breath. The toughest in my opinion are The Twin Dragons and Gremory.
Was looking for that comment. Twin Dragons are a nightmare on hard/nightmare New Game... the attack where they both bite at the same is so hard to position your character and dodge...
Try Nightmare. That one has been making a fool of me. I'm currently stuck on Alfred, so I've stopped working on him, and am working to find secrets to build my health and such up so I can maybe survive a few more blows.
This game still looks great and amazing, but honestly I think they spent or at least had more time to polish the prequel. It's kind of weird watching some of the bosses spazz around, most notably Andrealphus.
@Shadowserg, as of yesterday, (January 14, 2021), there is a new Boss in a new area of the game that is called Dead Lands that is from the video game that is called Kingdom Two Crowns. This new area also has a new Enemy/Demon as well. The name of the Enemy/Demon is called a Greedling and the name of the new Boss is called the Breeder. The Breeder makes Greedlings and tosses what I assume are rocks at you. The Breeder is an HP sponge and they can take either a long time, or a relatively short time, depending on your level, as well as what Weapons, Armor, and such that you are using in the game, to defeat on this new stage. Here is how you get to the Dead Lands stage. First of all, you have to at least defeat Bathin in the Underground Sorcery Lab. Second, you have to go to the Shop in Arvantville and talk to either Dominique or Anne. Third, you have to get the Hat/Helmet/Head Piece Accessory that is called the Crown of Creation and it is a very cheap item that only costs 1G. The Crown of Creation, in addition to allowing you to access this new place in the game, also allows the Gold that you have to halve the damage that you take from enemies in the game. Now as to where to go to get to the Dead Lands, you have to go on the Train and then go to the end of the Train. Normally, the Train would take you directly to the Underground Sorcery Lab. However, if you are wearing the Crown of Creation, it will take you to the Dead Lands instead of the Underground Sorcery Lab.
I actually thought they’d name Bloodless, Elizabeth because she believed bathing the blood of others kept her from aging. I mean cmon she’s literally in a tub of blood! Wasted opportunity

Curse of the moon is not a prequel, is a spin off
Also yeah. The ones from curse of the moon look worse here. They lack the charm that was before
8:45 Solid Snake? Is that you?
Yup, good ol' David Hayter ;)
Yessssssss the goat
Glad you beat them all
Damn I need to replay this now...
That 2 dragon bite attack reminded me of Death ability in Dawn of Sorrow...
Man I love the Boss Theme!
Nice video
Bring full gameplay please
The voices in this video is better than the others in your posts
Кажется разработчики явно не хотели попасть под статью за нарушений авторских прав! (1:19:46)
Librarian Alucard-voiced DIO is ridiculous & I love him
I actually thought they’d name Bloodless, Elizabeth because she believed bathing the blood of others kept her from aging. I mean cmon she’s literally in a tub of blood! Wasted opportunity
BRAVO! Well done
Umm, I am new to this game...why does the character stab herself with a shard every time she kills a boss?
I think it involves absorbing their powers into her.
Amigo Shadowserg admiro tu nivel de juego más que todo en CASTLEVANIA tienes una Gran practica en memorizar los movimientos del enemigo Gracias por los buenos videos de que pais eres ?
awesome run☻
Nice animations and smooth gameplay.
IGAさん 何してるのよ…まさかの隠しボスとして登場ですか・・・
OD sounds like alucard from Symphony of the night is that the original actor now older?😦😦😦😍
Great fights!
Is it David Hayter who make Zangetsu's voice?
He's also the Narrator as well
What we can't all agree on:
Pizza is better than sushi, or vice versa.
What we can all agree on:
Valac battle is better on Curse of the Moon
Sushi is garbage.
Good to hear David Hayter again.
Basically Abyss Odyssey feat. David Hayter
Is that solid snake voice?
Yes
how do you manage to avoid contact damage while you are close to an enemy? is there n accesories to that?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Weird. I never knew Solid Snake was a Bloodstained boss.
definitely useful for research before playing
まさかの隠しボスに登場
IGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
にびっくり(*・ω・)
Great thumbnail.
Boa noite eu gostaria de saber como é que eu faço baixar para o meu celular esse Castlevania não consigo achar para dar download
Why's that guy just like magnus
This game does have Castlevania vibes
Decently played, though I must confess that I was hoping for the Japanese spoken dialogue; my experience with this channel is that, when possible, the sub is picked over the dub in these videos.
MY WORD! what a tough game.
The first boss use teleport like Akuma in street fighter alpha 3
This game looks fun
HOLY SHIT ZANGETSU IS SNAKE
its little bit slow paced, but glad the graphic help it
because who the fuck needs the most damaging moveset in the videogame to beat the shit out of literally everything.
Zangetsu sounds like Snake lol
Sorry but want to ask, this game include japanese audio with english sub right? I more prefer its be that way as I used to play with japanese audio but still able to understand the game, thanks
Yes it is
sonogami rinne okay thanks
1:06:55 Are those the emblems of the smash bros?
yep
Everyone talking about snake but no one mentions that O.D. uses *ZA WARUDO!*
Its too bad I can't find this on Xbox 360. I love games like this
Do megaman x4 all bosses(no damage and buster only) please.
Wow I just recently played that game and it was fun as heck
Bathin's walk animation reminds me of hurricane polymer from TvC
I feel like Gremory should have been the final boss, not Dominique or Bael, and the final area other place not an ice cave
Why do the bosses seem so slow, I'm here thinking of the Julius fight in aria of sorrow, so you can have fast gameplay in games like this, hell even the doppelganger in this game is slow, as it's telegraphs have an obvious setup. Please someone tell me this isn't on a higher difficulty or something.
Aside from IGA, the doesn't look like it has much exciting bosses
I don't know man people play different I think it's on normal
So level 1 boss is a scary deep sea haunted coochie....
Bad Ending to Game Over ?
OD use the same powers that Soma Cruz in Dawn of Sorrow
Blazing star all bosses (no damage) please
th-cam.com/video/8f8i3QfQu_0/w-d-xo.html
What's loaded?
1:19:51 entendí esa doble referencia
2:19 I remember her
1:21:27 Zombie-Simon Belmont. 😎
Where is the OD battle?
At the very end of the video.
Seriously, am I the only one creeped out by bloodles
She is silly
