Wood Kiln - P8 - Results Are In ... Looks Good!

I am absolutely shocked at how much the Wood Kiln has dried out the wood in just five days! It went into the kiln at about 35% moisture content, and it now contains about 4% ... right where it should be workable.
One piece is thicker (at 3") than the rest of the slabs (at 1"), and it is currently at about 15% moisture content so it will stay in the kiln for another couple days.
The kiln is definitely a success!

How long did it take to dry from green to final EMC?

About 4-5 days for the 1" slabs. The 3" slab is still drying ... now at 8 days, and about 20-25% moisture content (down from 37% originally).
