After this, I looked at my acoustic like a man who couldn't satisfy his wife.
Rafael Garcia dude I literally just laughed out loud at this I needed that ty
Lol
I think this might be the funniest comment I have ever seen in my 12 years of youtube comment scrolling. Thank you, Legend.
Good news, im a man who couldnt satisfy my wife so i kicked her to the curb. Guess what, im happier with just my guitar & much richer. There is hope for all married men in my post.
@@thylacine1962 That's cool pana
The last fret was like " Finally my time has come."
Solid comment.
😆🍻
Haha!
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
The playing is sick but nobody is talking about how nice that guitar is sheesh
First thing I noticed actually. The wood grain is gorgeous and that glossy finish brings it out quite nicely.
It’s like an really nice table I’ll never be able to afford ❤️🤘🏻
I believe the wood is Cocobolo. An absolutely gorgeous guitar!
An Ibanez EW50
Srsly, that guitar is off the chain.
Acoustician came in 4 years ago, uploaded the greatest acoustic guitar solo covers ever and vanish - mission accomplished
He is dead but he definitely left some memories.
How did anyone dislike this? Incredibly clean playing.
DaltonThomas haters bro. that's why. lol. I agree.
DaltonThomas some people don't have respect for talent or beautiful music
dark side dislike this
They are simply too jealous to enjoy the beauty of it.
I think they just misclicked
He's playing the other part with his feet
You just made my day man! 😂
lol
Holy sh_t! LOL
Lol lol
I am sure he is
This guy forgot his TH-cam password?
Nah.. How can he remember all those notes?😂
@@zhozosakhamo They took all the space in his brain so there was no space remaining for his password
The patience and calmness of this solo is amazing. David Gilmour is a guitar genius.
His fingers are "COMFORTABLY NUMB"
More like painfully numb
1 your of bending exercices every day will make u play like this in a month
people quoting and putting the joke in caps ruins the joke at the very least and often ruins a whole day, because of the pondering of how people can be so dry
Lmao
Stupid comment.
Only those who play, will know how hard that is on acoustic
Actually it's not :P
Unless you don't have a guitar with a cutaway. Then it's a pain.
@oof oof Not at all.
At least i don't find any difference between acoustic and electric.
@oof oof I know about that. I don't find them hard to bend though. How close strings are to the fredboard depends on how you regulate it. Also you can notice that Acoustician often plays slides instead of bends.
The KillerCow show us a video of your acoustic solo :)
@@wengjai I sold mine about year ago.
Imagine the pure *pain, suffering, hours upon hours of dedications* this dood put in this.
Respect.
And the number of G strings put in
you mean the hours of joy? sure it's hard work but you have to enjoy it to get to that level
@@whitexavier7292 xd
@@famatu yea i didn't like getting blisters on my fingers so I quit
melodies without polyphony are relatively easy on guitar, it would sound very different without the background track
I never realized how many triplets were in that solo. Gilmore is so smooth, you don't even notice.
Absolutely the best guitar solo ever created.
why?
1guy1wisdom because bring to you one of the most emotional and intense feelings in music history
1guy1wisdom it just is man-dont question david gilmour.
Because of its dynamics,
the pauses ,
the chord shapes used to create the melody,
the bluesy funky style
the bending
the variety of intervals
And the composition that gives people the feels.
Keenan Bartlome I prefer the solo on Time
the solo is great but your rhythm player is KILLING it also
Most probably that is him also. If not, he should have been credited at the end too..
@@borayurt66 Was going tot comment the same thing. You had the same idea just one day ago.
It's him only
you can kinda hear that it's the same guitar playing, and that it's a recording rather than another play beside him. I'd imagine that a second player would've been included in the shot also!
It's called a loop pedal
Not a single solo on youtube is as accurate as this one. the guitarist truly understood the song. 2020 and yet to hear someone can make a decent cover of this solo with guitar electric and his name is not David Gilmour.
Finding this made my day. Guess it should be no surprise that even as an acoustic version Gilmour's solo still sounds like the best thing your ears have ever heard.
Son: Dad, why is my sisters name Rose?
Father: Because your mom loves roses.
Son: Thanks dad.
Father: No problem, Comfortably Numb Solo - Pink Floyd - Acoustic Guitar Cover!
This made me spill my beer. Fuck me thats good.
Hahaha omg mate you got me
I saw the same exact comment on the Pompeii concert video with the same comfortably numb solo performance
Stolen comment.
Vortex :D 🙈🙈🙈
This video should be flagged as adult content. This guitar is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen on youtube! Good lord man!
Sounds as beautiful as it looks - great playing!
Yeah, that's a pretty axe.
What kind of guitar is that?
@@jaytoro6102 Bass
@@jaytoro6102 Ibanez EW50
Careful with that axe, eugeine
Music evolved and the guitar solo disappeared, it’s sad. Solos could be long and boring but many guitar solos of the 70’s and 80’s, like this, are just beautiful creations. But it feels like: that’s it, those are the ones we have and no more… (me having a nostalgic moment)
you're completely right man, but to be honest, I feel thats a good thing.. it immortalizes them and makes them special against the drab sounds we get today!
You do know that Polyphia exists, right?
Their whole songs have separate instrument solos in them.
Plenty of modern rock and blues my man you just gotta look.
@@ploopy8780 please mention some modern rock bands with great solos. I just know greta van fleet. Thanks in advance.
@@priyankandatta5644 Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Mastodon, Khruangbin. All pretty different from each other, should definitely keep you entertained.
Do you guys ever close your eyes and pretend that you're the one that's playing?
Well, if you know how to play the solo, then you don't need to pretend🤫🤭😉
@@rensl_6166 yesh like youll ever be able to play like this
@@freedom43774 you probably are a 12 yr old kid whos girlfriend just broke up and you are in depression beacuse you lose every match in warzone and fortnite and dont know a shit about guitar
Bending your fingers and flinching at every bend
Lol just did this 30s ago
Insanely good playing. My fingers hurt just from watching those bendings
My finger tips, they're bleeding
I don’t think it’s the standard tuning. He probably tuned it down a half step
Try some lighter gauge strings.
this is how I react to every single solo cover on this platform
Nylon strings certainly help but either way its gonna hurt.
this is the most beautiful guitar i have seen wowwwww!!!
june 23 they are cheap as well man! exotic Wood Series by Ibanez check them out!
how much for this??
june 23 in australian dollars they are around that $600 mark.
so maybe no more then $400 american.
Josh Harris are you able to link a website with them
joshua salvini many music stores have these things man, are very common atm.
if your in Australia, look up Port Mac Guitars on google and check those guys out. Literally the cheapest guitars you will find and are world renowned!
Learnt this solo from this guy back in 2018..mad respect looking back at this now... Brings tears to my eyes
Best solo ever!
I have just started out at playing guitar for a month or so, and I made the mistake of youtubing guitar players because I came across Taj Farrant and I felt like I wanted to throw my guitar into the fireplace. Then I realized that you don't have to be a child prodigy to play and appreciate music and just have fun. And your clean simple moves which conveyed a mountain of emotion, art and joy just inspired me to continue even though I knew I would never be great, or even good. It's about the joy you have doing it and the outlet of emotion that gives it value, like any other art I guess.
IRON FINGERS
Yes indeed
Acoustic playing will defiantly make your fingers tough. I have been playing so long that all my fingertips are numb. Lol
comfortably, I bet
But why tho? I play acoustic and yes, indeed, after playing my fingers are hurting. But whats the difference with electric guitar? Strings are different?
@@legojedi3217 usually electric strings are thinner , which means easier bends
dude u defined a new meaning of acoustic , salute bro
People who don’t play guitar could never understand how unbelievably difficult this is to do
I wouldn't say it's unbelievably difficult. Just a bit tough
Average difficulty
@@NourElRayes
I bet h play it 5x worse lol
playing it isnt hard, playing it well like Acoustician does is very hard, the flair on the bends and small nuances that non guitar players dont appreciate are very well done by this guy
That’s not hard to play at all. You are just trash at playing 😂
each and every note reflecting the emotions of life beyond words.
Note to guitarists, from a drummer who's been sitting back and observing for a long time now....it seems you can build a solo on an acoustic and it will transpose to electric, with all the effects, very well, but it doesn't always work going the other way around.
Rely on your ability to play guitar, not the effects that you think make you sound "cool".
This guy is obviously a very learned and able guitar player...and it shows. No effects (or electricity) required.
@Alex Nicoletti ...but of course! =)
@Alex Nicoletti Yes,that's true.I first learned rock songs on acoustc.Electric guitar is even easier.
Bear Lionetti looks like an Ibanez exotic wood
indeed
@@LiamTheCarver yup. Its an Ibanez ew50. I just bought one second hand.
My fingers started bleeding sympathetically when I saw you bend .12s that hard.
Amazing playing.
12's are light... I use 22's and bend up three tones
And before you say It,yes I am quite a bender haha
I use .13s
The iron finger
Cage Moses 12’s are pretty light I’m not saying your wrong but I pretty much have bass strings on my guitar there called dropdown strings and there huge but there also electric guitar strings so the materials are different to make them more magnetic for the pickups so maybe on an acoustic guitar they are harder to bend ? I haven’t the slightest clue
Really captures the soul of the solo
This, like several other covers from this guy are beautiful art of playing guitar. Just emazing!
Clicked for that beautiful guitar stayed for the music
th-cam.com/video/e5dzOS_yCCA/w-d-xo.html what you think of my version 😉?
I am so happy this channel popped up in my "Recommended"-Tab. Simply incredible. Keep up the good work, Juha :)
haha :D same here!
Juha??
Stunning! I'm stoned and just had to pick my jaw up off the floor. Been into the Floyd for ever and this is the best version I've ever heard of this song. Couldn't take my eyes off of that beautiful guitar top!
I keep coming back to this every once in a while..... Soooo good, awesome, love it!
Exotic Wood Series by Ibanez sales up 80% and climbing thanks to the Acoustician.
That is one incredibly striking example ..absolutely love the look of that thing its got such character in the grain and figure and the contrasting layers just pop ... the heavy clearcoat is so smooth and free of orange peel or ripple its slicker than hammered cat shit. .. really the entire guitar is just tits on glass visually beautiful... sounds great...and the guy playing is clearly a good egg with good taste in guitars and hell of a musician too
*hits joint* This is basically a demo video for this guitar... Holy shit... *hits joint again*
"Tits on glass visually beautiful"
I dig that...
Yep. Mine isn't as beautiful as his but i love it.
I can’t find that guitar anywhere. I’ve looked everywhere online and can’t find it. I would love to get one just like his it’s the most beautiful acoustic guitar I’ve ever seen and heard.
The tone of the guitar, the sound of the pick across the strings and this masterful playing of such a legendary solo is heaven!
Pure perfection. Just absolutely brilliant
What a gorgeous guitar
That pick control... maaaaaan, you know your strings like you were born along-side them.... Amazing!
Ariel Vinda dat skills,he must be mastered with guitar
His cover was so accurate that he got claimed. That's how you know you are good.
Some say he never stoped playing that solo!🤘🏼🔥
Just glad to be part of a world where this solo exists
That's a beautiful instrument and some damned fine playing.
Mr. Gilmore would approve I'm certain.
OMG, that 4 string bend at 1:36 is a thing of beauty.
Just watched this and my guitar is back in the garage, where it will live forever.
Bravo sir, you are a genuine genius. Comfortably Numb isn’t too shabby either
That is by far the best cover I've listened and that infinity sign on that Fred board looks awesome man really nice 🔥
That might be the most beautiful acoustic I've seen in a while
More like in your entire life, at least it’s the most beautiful one I’ve ever seen
Man that guitar is just beautiful
I listen to this and I smile with joy. It's beautifully played!!!
Dude! Comfortably Numb is my all-time favorite guitar solo. I know first hand that it is not easily played, especially with so much heart and soul. You can feel the song. Inspiring!
Lord your fingers are strong af. Tastefully played too
that is the work of soft strings not strong fingers, though his fingers might very well be strong from the guitar
Alex Shadow these are .012 strings; they are pretty heavy compared to others
Muhammad Ushman they are still .012 string and wound g-string which he does bend too so it does take much more finger strength than electric guitar unless you are playing some reeeeealy heavy set on electric.
I've seen this video like a million times and still flesh

Secret hand so so clean smooth as unplugged indeed
There aren’t enough words. Incredible. Had to go back to back
Literally the best thing in the world. Everything that’s was ever created and everything that will ever be created in this whole freaking universe will fall below this performance!!!
calm down
Wow. That's a statement and a half. Its good, in fact great, but not that good. Its not very often, but Ive heard better and as good.
I've watched this a thousand times
It's so smooth
The best version of the solo as well. That's obviously the phrasing from the Pulse version, love it so much
I always thought it’s best to learn these on acoustic first. Then when you are confident enough, go ahead and play on electric. It’s the best way.
wow... what a beautiful guitar.
exactly what i wanted to comment :D its real beauty
Red Wolf the price on these Ibanez exotic wood series are very good to!
I came here to type literally the same exact comment...
do you know what Wood is used for the guitar
It looks a little like walnut but i'm thinking that would be too dense a wood for a guitar.
21st Century biggest misteries:
1. What happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370?
2. Where is Acoustician?
@Aldo Raine that's really sad news. I thought something had happened to him and passing away was one of the possibilities. I'm really sorry
@Aldo Raine how do you know that?
@Aldo Raine ?
Aldo Raine Where’d you get this information?
Ok I don’t believe you until you people actually start responding when we ask “where did you get this information.” I know it could be a possibility but still.. we need a solid answer.
Incredible. On an acoustic?! Simply beautiful. Thank you
Definitely doesn't get much cleaner than this..... No OD or delay to hide behind, flawless IMO, well done!!!
