In fact a non-guitarist could just as easily point out that your downward run is completely out of time. That being said, I'll see what I can do before too long.

It pains me to see 357 thumbs down, even if it is a small percentage of the number of views, it is simply wrong, if they did not enjoy it they did not need to watch, if they can find fault then they should have the decency to say so in comments!! I’m 61 and have been a Floyd fan since the early 70’s and I must say this is absolutely the finest musicianship I’ve run across. Your cover of this epic solo is spot on. Some here have said this is second only to the original played by the master himself. However I feel it is absolutely on par and every bit as good as David’s original performance. I found this by simply browsing through youtube. I'm an original Pink Floyd fan and I was lucky enough to have been at the Pulse concert. The solo performed here was perfect. Every cover drops clanger and plays a bad note or two, not the case here. . . Just close your eyes and ride the tide, simply let the music do its magic
I have heard a lot of guitarist play this solo and in fairness they are all truly amazing. But listening to this, the one thing that this guy Andrey has over all others is his apparent ability to channel Dave Gilmore when playing this solo because I can honestly say I have never heard anyone so accurately emulate what I believe to be the greatest guitar solo of all time so masterfully. Pure Genius.

At a certain time the solo sent a shiver on my spine, got a sense of awakening and I was looking around me. It was like to be in another place in the universe, and everything was different. Once the solo was over, I was back to the reality of my room with my phone in the palm of my hand. This is the 70th time I am listening to this and still can not believe how good you are. This is beyond perfection and if you are a true pink floyd fan, you would notice the perfection. So many people try to cover but they massacre. The tone, bending, feelings, everything is top top level. You could wear a Gilmour mask and sell out arenas.

It is indeed a fabulous copy of one of the best solo's, ever ... But the skill to invent that in the first place is God like... Every note is perfect. It sears my soul & soothes at the same time...
Playing correct notes is one thing, but you captured the flow, that euphoric, exhilarating feeling one gets when listening to "Comfortably Numb" solo, or many other times when we hear David Gilmour play. Ultimate aural ecstasy. Played bravely, without any hesitation, makes it even more convincing.

I think its pre recorded and then videoed. But the timings so close so hard to tell. Most guitar vids are done this way now hence the doubt people are beginning to have wether its real or not. I want to say he’s playing it live but how clean it is it seems pre recorded. But hey he might have just had one of those magic runs on a good day we all have 🤷♂️
@@VeganStance no ones that clean. Every note is perfect and you can see where he hits certain strings but you dont hear it which means its had production after. Nothing wrong with it but i prefer raw. I like the little mistakes they sometimes lead to some awesome things. He can obviously play but not even gilmore sounds that good live and its his song.
@@crystllclr3743 He might have done some post editing but if you look closely, not much, if any. When you compare this to Gilmour's pulse live version, this is way cleaner. It might have took him quite a few shots though, while Gilmour only had one take. Check out Kingfish's Empty Promises in Nashville. You'll find zero mistakes in one of the best live solos of all times (and that's a live performance btw, not a bedroom recorded one).
I have yet to hear a better cover of my all-time favorite Comfortably Numb Pulse solo, and I have listened to literally all of them for over a decade. Congratulations!

At a certain time the solo sent a shiver on my spine, got a sense of awakening and I was looking around me. It was like to be in another place in the universe, and everything was different. Once the solo was over, I was back to the reality of my room with my phone in the palm of my hand. Suddenly I realized that even though I am no longer young still I can feel like a child who hears its first song. Thank you, guy for these rare sensations, and thank you for this amazing music!

This is the 70th time I am listening to this and still can not believe how good you are. This is beyond perfection and if you are a true pink floyd fan, you would notice the perfection. So many people try to cover but they massacre. The tone, bending, feelings, everything is top top level. You could wear a Gilmour mask and sell out arenas.

Playing correct notes is one thing, but you captured the flow, that euphoric, exhilarating feeling one gets when listening to "Comfortably Numb" solo, or many other times when we hear David Gilmour play. Ultimate aural ecstasy. Played bravely, without any hesitation, makes it even more convincing.

I think its pre recorded and then videoed. But the timings so close so hard to tell. Most guitar vids are done this way now hence the doubt people are beginning to have wether its real or not. I want to say he’s playing it live but how clean it is it seems pre recorded. But hey he might have just had one of those magic runs on a good day we all have 🤷♂️

@@VeganStance no ones that clean. Every note is perfect and you can see where he hits certain strings but you dont hear it which means its had production after. Nothing wrong with it but i prefer raw. I like the little mistakes they sometimes lead to some awesome things. He can obviously play but not even gilmore sounds that good live and its his song.
@@crystllclr3743 He might have done some post editing but if you look closely, not much, if any. When you compare this to Gilmour's pulse live version, this is way cleaner. It might have took him quite a few shots though, while Gilmour only had one take.
Check out Kingfish's Empty Promises in Nashville. You'll find zero mistakes in one of the best live solos of all times (and that's a live performance btw, not a bedroom recorded one).

I remember seeing David Gilmour during his rattle that lock tour in Chicago and the chills I got when that first bass note got comfortably numb hit me. I knew I was in for an experience. I walked out of that concert a vastly different man. Thank you for doing this so I can study the masterpiece that this solo is

I'm a musician and a producer, hence highly developed hearing, I've listened to Floyd since I was probably 5.. that's almost 30 years of listening to Floyd.. and let me say this:
if there was no video to this and someone told me its Dave himself, playing it in a studio, I'd not doubt it for a second! This is PREFECTION in every way.. tone, playing, feel, phrasing, even the damn reverb. Incredible work!!! 🙏🙏🙏
