Hi Everyone, in this video I wanna show you some Elektron Digitone and Roland MC707 Pad presets. Which machine do you prefer?
(Digitone Keys is used as midi keyboard for Roland presets).

Both sound great, the 707 just has that slick groovebox appeal but I am trying to decide between that and the syntakt for some deep dub chords in my music along with drum grooves

Hi Damiano thanks for this video to show me what I have at home :-D I prefer Roland for pads, I have also elktron cycles with FM sounds, great for kick & bass I would say.

This is actually a good test. I own both and I agree. I actually prefer the Roland. The layers are pretty sick if you have the patience.

Thanks so much for this, I'm currently deciding between the 707 or an elektron and I think I prefer the tones of the elektron but the 707 tones are still nice and a good starting point for a setup as can do a lot with the one box, can then save for an elektron at some point.. Thanks this really helped..

Thanks for your interest, if you need only zencore sounds you can find them in mc101 too, less tracks but same engine✌🏻

@@DamianoPistoia Hi thanks, I actually want to use it to produce in the box and have more hands on control and then use it to sequence some external gear so I guess more of a centre piece.
