4:33 higher level targets don’t actually give more staff exp D : exp just drops if the user is 2/3 levels above the target

Edelgard is the funniest emblem in this game and its not even close

      By funny you mean op?

Probably. No other emblem aside from maybe Michiah makes me question wtf the devs were thinking every time I see it used.

@@thelog6114 Right. I’d say Byleth is more op (slightly worse than Micaiah for LTC, but perhaps better in general).

Very possible. But when I see Byleth's Goddess dance, it makes sense because it was also in 3H as a Gambit.
Edelgard's Raging Storm was also in 3H but its so much better in Engage lmao.

@@thelog6114 is that right? I don’t know anything about 3H because I got into FE after it released for a while, and haven’t played it yet

Amazing Chloe was able to with stand the chest... Didn't it have a dress or something? Pretty sure she wanted it.

She does want the red candy in that pandora's box. But growing up requires giving up certain things...

It's my understanding that Lapis makes a halfway decent "replacement" for Chloe if you for whatever reason just...didn't want to use Chloe. Probably not for LTC, obviously, but what are your thoughts on the two, might I ask?

This is a great but also tricky question. Their growth rates are almost identical, so the only difference is in base stats and starting class. At lvl10, Chloe has about 1.5 more SPD and 1 more build than Lapis, but 1.5 less STR. This difference is small enough that I think you could run either unit even for an LTC. Their stats are outclassed by Kagetsu and Merrin, but canter and griffin access make them better carries in midgame if you want to go really fast and invest in them - like we did with Chloe. We choose Chloe because we find STR a little easier to patch up by forging (or crit rigging), while the doubling SPD threshold is sometimes clutch. Chloe also has 3 more DEX and LCK, which is relevant for raging storm because Aymr has poor hit. And of course, she saves a second seal which can be tight at that stage of the game

@@xsmu1729 So in conclusion: both have their pros and cons in terms of stats, Chloe's around to actually help out in the earlygame and doesn't require a Second Seal, Lapis doesn't need earlygame investment and in turn makes the Alear EXP benchmark more lenient (whatever that's worth). Do I have the general gist?
Actually, while I'm at it, how do you reckon Wyvern Diamant compares to the two? 'Cuz I think I remember his stats comparing well to the both of them, but I might also be mistaken.

@@d3-ll754 That's a nice summary! You raised a good point about Lapis potentially relaxing Alear's exp benchmark in early game. At least with lineage from DLC, we managed to get Chloe promoted after C8 without taking much arena away from Alear. So I didn't really think Chloe and Alear are competing for exp (maybe only in C6 where only one of them can use Mercurius). That said, it certainly takes more planning/optimization to get both of them promoted in time while clearing the maps at a fast pace. Lapis would be an easier solution, but you could also go a bit slower and still feed Chloe without too much hassle.
Regarding wyvern Diamant, he's going to have somewhat better bulk than the girls. But compared to lvl10 Chloe he would have 2 less spd and 1 more bld, so he's 1 spd slower at base. His main drawback is 15% less speed growth, which will accumulate over time and make it harder and harder for him to double in later maps. Again it's not too big a deal if you play somewhat slower (and in that case bulk is helpful). But he's more questionable for LTC
