Hi guys. This time I tried something new. I removed the background and made it black using the editing software. What do you think? Is using black background better? And what do you think about the video?

Thank you. Great video. Many of these Turkish constructions using yemek are very familiar to me as a speaker of Urdu.

That's great!. Really? Do you guys have more than what I mentioned in the video?

@@TurkishJourney 😁 So soup, beating, slap are "eaten" just as you mentioned. Other things that use the same phrasing in Urdu that I can think of are to swear (take oarh), to become angry, something going in a wavey/spiral motion.
I'll have to watch the video again to be sure!

para yemek, tokat yemek, dayak yemek, gol yemek, kafayi yemek
All of the above are used in Greek in the same way.
It is funny because as long as I'm studying Turkish I stumble across many common expressions and proverbs

It is amazing, isn't it? I love this so much that we use the same ways for these expressions. Can you write them to me in Greek so may be I can memorize some of them :)

      @@TurkishJourneyCertainly!
      Para yemek: Trói ton pará
      Tokat yemek: Tróo hastúki
      Dayak yemek: Tróo ksilo
      Gol yemek: Tróme gol
Kafayı yemek: Tha su fáo to kefáli
      Also few common proverbs:
İyilik yap denize at : kàne to kaló ke ríhto sto yaló
Aç ayı oynamaz: nistikó arkúdi den horévi
Tencere yuvarlanmış kapağını bulmuş : kílise o tenceris ke vrike to kapaki

I'm not sure that my answer is correct, but I'm trying
"içi içini yemek" to eat one s heart out
    ceza yemek to be punıshed
rüşvet yemek to take a brıbe
para yemek to spend money freely
    kendını yemek to agonıze over
    tessekuler

Great. Thanks for your hard work.
Ceza yemek is like to receive a penalty. It is used in different ways like getting a fine for a violation in traffic or when someone breaks a rule.
And para yemek can also be used to mean to take a bribe.
      Great work.
