You are so wrong. Lots of poor people can only afford to buy from Goodwill and most of the time they can't find anything worth wearing. Why because rich assholes go in a buy up all of the decent stuff so that they can sell it for profit.
Oh please. I see that "sweethearting" in every goodwill i have ever been in! One local GW the manager can be seen saving carts of vintage goods for her boyfriend and looking up prices on ebay for him on the floor! She has been reported to GW many times but she never gets in trouble. Has really destroyed my faith in GW and i am not a reseller!
Myself and a neighbor came across similar issues when donating items. As soon as I donated a few things the volunteer opened the bag and said I am saving these for myself and put them aside. I was shocked. My neighbor donated a new pair of winter boots given as a Xmas gift to him didn’t fit. Next week went to donate to the homeless shelter more items only to see a volunteer wearing them. He asked about it and was told because they were volunteers they had first choice of items free.

A foot doctor told me because i walk 28 miles a day at my job, i should be wearing sas shoes. He told me when ever your in a hospital, look at which shoes the nurses wear, they'll be sas or new balance.
Danskos and Hokas are popular with nurses these days, too.

Definitely has to be better than having the flu! Fourth day now and I don't ever remember feeling this bad. There is just so much going on at the same time...fever, coughing, sneezing, headache, ears popping. Still not sure how your nose can be stopped up and running at the same time. I hope you feel better! Test for Covid - can take up to five days to get a positive on the rapids now. My whole family thought they had the flu… until day four. Just in time for Paxlovid, which helped tremendously.

Yesterday at GW I found not one but 5 antique Goat bone and semi precious stone, horse hair caligraphy brushes. They were 3.49 each and sell for 10x that. I also found a hand knapped flint tomahawk. Weird day at GW. Of course the rest of there stuff was stupid overpriced.
Humidors make nice jewelry boxes. They're airtight, so your silver jewelry doesn't tarnish. Flatware cases are good, too.

I shipped a golf ball display a couple of weeks ago. It came apart but the glass didn't break...customer was unhappy but kept it. I don't want to ship another one.

I've sold some of those Footjoy golf sandals before. It isn't always wet out. In my area 9 out of 10 shoes I get excited about I pick up and see they are too damaged or marked up way too high.

Found a Sony digital recorder new sealed at my local habitat for humanity for $5 sold it on less than a week for $150
Went to a few GW's today and I first shop for me second shop to resell and it's just crazy that they are selling shirts used for almost the same price I can get a WallyWorld brand new. T-shirts are now 6.99, button up shirts are 7.99-9.99 and long sleeve flannels and sweatshirts are 9.99-14.99. I did find me a nice Under Armor 1/4 zip long sleeve for 9.99. Will be a nice for golfing or bumming around in.

I worked in a thrift store that mostly used volunteers. Needless to say, more stuff went out the back door than the front. I quit cause it drove me crazy that people volunteered so they could steal what came in

My friend’s daughter is on her college golf team and works on a golf course/golf’s in tourneys, just won one actually, and she wears teva sandals in the summer to golf. The grass is pretty low on a golf course, so golf sandals make sense especially in the warmer weather.

I agree with you the Dyson's take time to clean and kind of our pain but there's some good money in there we just bust them all apart throw it in the dishwasher, on the cigar humidor the velcro thing is supposed to get water, for us people that are in dry environments to maintain the humidity in the box, that's why it comes off

I was digging on the Nuwaves. I've gone through about 5 of them. The heating elements burn out. No Wonder. I cook in mine nearly every day.
Take 250 east or west though ohio and towards west viginia. About 50 flea markets with the coolest stuff. I found a clock worth 2 grand for 25$ and a wooden folk art rabbit for 5$ and its worth 2700. They're Amish so they don't have internet to check prices
