Thank you for this video. I'm new to tuning in general, but I've messed around enough that I'm familiar with HPTuners MPVI3. This video didn't help much, yet everything I find online is either very basic or designed only for racing vehicles. I'm assuming I'm not alone in wanting to learn more about tuning for fuel efficiency and using the tuner for everyday driving improvements. I also have a customer base that operates 100% off road, so learning how to delete emissions controls and whatever other enhancements over stock.
I selected do not read transmission before i read ecm so now it doesn't show me any settings in transmission section is there any way i can redo and write my ECM without buying another credits?
Hi if chance a eng and transmission in a jeep wrangler old engine 3.6 new eng 6.4l and a 8 hp70 it’s running ,hard gear shifts and the on the eng still says its a 3.6 the ecm is the ecm for the 6.4l
Love your guys product, Gotta quick question. I went to upgrade my MPVI2 to the MPVI3 and the website says upgrades are currently unavailable. Wondering if that just has something to do with the state of the world currently? Working in Professional Motorsports we've had a hard time with parts supply chain and stuff being on backorder. So I can only assume that has effected you guys as well. Which I'm sorry to hear if thats the case.
Hey McBride Motorsports, thanks for your comment! 🤙 That is correct, the MPVI3 upgrade option is not available until December 1st, 2022 (all generations to MPVI3). Our team has been impacted by part shortages and supply chain issues, but we have pushed forward and continued to innovate so we can support tuners like yourself. We have some info about the upgrade option in our MPVI3 FAQ: bit.ly/3LgWBZM I'd also recommend signing up for our emails so you can be the first to know when that option becomes available. Thanks for watching!
changed the speedo calibration on my ranger 2018 but it did not work why if i can change the inputs and write it to the car does it not work. If it would not work then you should not be able to enter and change the inputs and write them to the car.
Hi I was wondering if I’m dealing with a software issue. I have a 2010 Mercury Mariner that I thought had 1 o2 sensor so before the new update I changed it to 1 . I looked under my car recently and found there was a second o2 sensor after my catalytic converter, so I attempted to change it with the new update and course completed with the code attached to my device and I still can’t edit it because it’s grayed out still. What should I do??
Hello! After completing the course and entering your device code, you must click "Refresh Device Link" and close/reopen the software. At this point, if you still have trouble accessing some greyed-out parameters, please contact our support team and they'll help you out. support.hptuners.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
@@HPTuners awesome! I’m kind of teaching myself things and trying to learn this platform specifically so I’m able to manage my own car, there’s tons of LS and Coyote content but most of the info with this platform is with other tuning apps or just non existent
@@HPTuners thanks! I wish it was possible to browse the tune repo so we could see what might be available in the Alloytec world. Site says GM Holden Adventra V8 features supported but not a mention of Holden Adventra V6 which mostly would be the same as Holden Commodore (non sedan) V6, but there is no confirmation for Adventra as like it does confirm for V8 so that was a question. Its important as while Adventra V6 is same LY7 it has AWD components in the ECM which I wonder if supported. Any info on this?
@@AllTerrainAction Hey there! We apologize for the late response here. As long as you have an account with HP Tuners, you can browse the Tune Repository. Regarding your vehicle support question, if you want to email sales@hptuners.com, we can connect with you and confirm if your Adventra V6 is supported. 👍

How has this worked out for you?
Hi I'm new to tuning. Can you maybe assist with a tuning file for 2020 dodge ram 1500 5.7lv8. Mostly to get the fuel consumption better 😊
can someone explain the whole credits thing?? like do i have to buy credits essentially to apply a tune i make to my vehicle?
Sharing is caring, great work guys 👍

Any plans on doing live training with an EECV car like the 99-04 Mustang GT?
Hey 904Saleen! Thanks for watching. I will forward this video request to our marketing team! 🤙

Sweet! I already sent this idea to our team so stay tuned!👍
So does this only work on windows?
Windows only at this time.
Getting closer and closer to hitting that buy button everytime I see a video in the editor. 😬
Hey! Let us know what questions you have about the software and/or MPVI3. 👍
