Could you cut an AF1 Craft in half? According to Nike they’re essentially just an AF1 but with universally better materials (such as tumbled leather). Kind of like the Chuck 70s vs the standard all stars.
I just hope that the version of the shoe they send is also the version of the shoe they sell. like same quality and everything. They can make one High quality shoe of the same model for a review and sell the low quality ones. Hope it's not like that.

Nike can't sue anyone from making an air force one clone because of the Bapesta and Ari Air force one. Nike has lost the design patent for the shoe so as Long as you don't put a swoosh on it you are in the clear.
Hand wrapped rigid boxes that aren’t corrugated are so expensive especially if you are doing a small batches. We had a quote from before the corona virus for a similar box that was under $20 but now with inflation and shortages packaging pricing is crazy especially if you are trying to keep production in the US. That being said if someone can get me a better deal hit me up 😉

Ya that’s a good critique I could have made it more clear by what I meant by “wearable”. I tried to express that in a concise way at the end when I was talking about the trade off of the AF1 having worse leather but having the air unit/foam midsole vs the MSCHF having better leather and material.

I feel like some people rush to buy MSCHF before a court forces them to stop selling a product. They also do a lot of limited releases, but it becomes even more limited with court injunctions. I like the Mars Black color better than this white scheme, while I realize that white is more fashionable these days. Even though it's $45 more than Air Force 1, it seems like a good deal for an unusual design from a famous but still somewhat underground brand. It's unusual that us normal people can afford a piece of pop art, and it seems to also be functional at the same time.
What's funny with Nike didn't say anything about MSCHF is that they had no problem with the Jesus shoe they made or the walk on waters but had something to say about the Satan shoe. They love playing poke the bear and see how fast the bear will run. Love their style.
You should review the MSCHF Super Normal 2s. You can get it at retail and look similar but have a different bottom. I wonder if it’s the same quality leather since its a mass produced pair.

If the two shoes are the same thickness, but the air force one has a thick layer of plastic while the super normal only has a light pigment, wouldnt that technically mean that the super normal have thicker leather and are more durable for it?

i'm unimpressed by the AF1's. i don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with them, the plasticky feel of the leather is mediocre, so say the least. It's been less than a year and these sneakers look like they've been through world war 3 or something, and that's me wearing them maybe twice a week? the lining is destroyed, there's a giant hole at the heel so deep that it actually goes all the way down to the 'cardboard' underneath. i will not be buying another pair, that's for sure - money well spent elsewhere, honestly.
Now compare the MSCHF Super Normal to their recent drop, the Super Normal 2. Are they new and improved? The sole is a different design, which actually complements the rest of the shoe now.
