The Stupiddy McStupidson moments are unironically so fun to watch from the perspective of someone who has beaten the game and bosses several times. I much prefer it over someone who always gets mad and blames the game! Obviously, you do get mad some times, but you soon realize your mistakes. It's awesome to find people who actually acknowledge their shortcomings and strive to get better (don't worry, you are getting better XD)
Someone already commented it, but Descending Dark is just an upgrade of the normal spell, both in range and damage.
Can't wait for the next episode

Edit : The Descending Dark Spell works as an upgraded version of your previous spell

There is a side to Descending Dark which your previous, similar ability is lacking. I don't want to spoil things for you, so I will only mention that I encourage experimenting...

30:48 Quality of life : there is a « Quick cast » button (one of the triggers or bumpers I think) which allows you to cast spells and therefore bypassing the use of the same button used for healing, preventing this kind of mishap :)
As the heal button needs to register if you want to heal (hold the button) or cast a spell (with tapping), the spell is realised AFTER the tap.
With quick cast it is released ON the tap :)

Well, that's admittedly the first time I have seen a player being unable to figure out how the Crystal Heart works right away. Unexpected, but I guess it had to happen one day. Glad you got it after a while, it will become a useful part of your arsenal.
