Lao food is the #1 cuisine!
100% Thank you for watching.
General Comment, looking for any responses haha😅. Any ‘beginner’ friendly meals I as a beginner/New to authentic cooking (I say that for i just understand basics of cooking and cook simpler items. As well as haven’t experienced/ made many cultural cuisine items). Id like to learn to cook For my partner. I am not saying this dish isn’t beginner friendly just want to see if any others have any ideas for me to try!! This channel has been a lovely find for me and I have saved a-couple videos for future reference already. Thank you!
Also would like to add I am good in the kitchen i can cook with recipes and directions, Just would like to hear any opinions, apologies
Thank you for watching and supporting. I’m so happy to hear you want to explore some new Lao dishes. That’s fantastic. I think the best place to start is with a Jeow. I have a video on Jeow Som that goes well with any meat. It’s a dipping sauce and can be made in a food processor or blender even. I use jeow on steamed rice and cooked eggs a lot. Good luck to you and I hope you enjoy some recipes.
Your channel is now my favorite. I'm going to watch every video on my day off. I'm tijana and absolutely love Lao food. Your recipes are so authentic. Thank you for sharing!!! 🎉🎉🥰👏

never seen this kinds of fruit sweet tart version of Lao Tum b4.... it's more like dessert version of Tum somehow.... should better try this recipe whenever I have time during my weekend. btw, do you think strawberry 🍓 tum Lao style or Blueberry Tum is great idea for other sweet fruit tum dish???? now I am craving for sour sweet tart fuit tum right now. mmm
Cherries are my favorite fruit to thum. Also, I recommend blackberries and blueberries. I’ve not tried strawberries. Let me know how it turns out!
@Cooking With Khon Khao will let ya know for sure how it turns out to experiment with random fruits and other berries. but I think it's gonna be salty from padek and crab 🦀 paste and sweet and sour and tart from berries. May be for mixed berries tum... refreshing taste when it's prepared with cucumber 🥒 during summertime. maybe another day to experiment with boysenberries and gooseberries and swedish lingonberies as well.
@@chrisb6943 yes! Go crazy. Try it all. Wonder if kiwi would be good.
