They were way too nice! They didn't even tell me they were going to bring those extras out, but it turned out to be one of the best things I tasted that day definitely!!!
You did some great cheap eats in Auburn.. the Afghan bread looked fresh and delicious and the Turkish hospitality & food was amazing. Nice bakery always has yummy bread. I love their sausage bread & taro sesame balls, the Briyani looked pretty good too..Nice to see you as always ..I loved the video ..x💕🥰❤️
I always look forward to your videos ☺ I'm also glad I'm not the only one who loves to eat bread on its owe. Afghan bread and red bean bun are the best ways to fill up a hungry stomach 😂 keep up the amazing work ☺
First time seen your channel, TH-cam must know I’m in auburn! Subscribed!! The mango pancakes from Nice Bakery are awesome too… love all the places you showcased, and the 100 other places heh… so much great food here, and nowhere is a rip off.
LOL! Love that 😂 I love doing videos like these because you never know what incredible things you'll find! One of my favourite desserts in Sydney now for sureer
Kev! You've totally sold that Turkish dessert to me! I'm coming up in Sept, I'd defo check out that place😁! Great job trying so many different cuisines in a day! I admire all the space you have in your tummy 🤣!
Next time also try Hijazi's Falafel. It's just past the south end of the main Auburn Rd strip. One of the few falafel shops left in Sydney and my personal fav. Super cheap, super tasty and friendly dudes.
The food at darband is great they have koobide lamb mince skewers with some fat and onions and rice which is persian rice with biter and they always give u a side of onions and extra butter and then there is zereshk polo which is chicken leg with onions tomato paste with sweet sultanas which is zereshk which is mixed in with the Persian rice and ghormeh sabzi which is red beans persian grilled veggies and sliced lamb and a few other dishes and also another side dish is kashk bademjoon which is eggplant dip everything is quiet reasonably priced though I’m the past few months the price has gone up by $2 overall great portions and delicious food
As a subscriber/fan I have to ask "You went to Auburn and didn't eat Kiymali at New Star? The best pide in Sydney, best eaten straight from the oven, crunchy and fluffy.
new star are gun for their adana kebabs too. One of the best Turkish places to eat at coming from a Turk. Haven't been there in a few years but I bet it's still good.
That napalese restaurant was the old sweets on queens. I used to live directly ontop 😅 I remember it used to be soo busy and very noisy every night. I miss living in Auburn.
I love these cheap videos. .... only because I am cheap! hahaha. Ive tried Momo for the first time here in Adelaide and I enjoyed them. Plus I know you tried to keep it under $30. Inflation does suck. Take care bro!
Thank you so much for Video, it is always great to see your honest expression on food. I am wondering if you could cover Cheap Eat near University of Sydney please. I don't know where to eat or go in Newtown or Glebe. Everything looks too expensive.
@@SydneyFoodBoy wow, Thank you so much for replying :) really loving your videos, also saving me a lot of time to search. Now , i don't search for good place to eat😋 but watch your videos. 😄Thank you for all your team's great effort for community. 😍
Greetings,Auburn is great. There are popular Japanese TH-camrs called TABIEATS who I linked so many of your videos as I wanted them to film both local, international and bargains in Sydney In believe they will return but they must have had no time to read my suggestions as they are at City Extra and I feel it's important for people to understand how diverse Sydney food is I returned to Turkey this year after 20 years and whilst much of the food has declined,I went to shop where they made fresh knefeh I ate a tummy Afghan bread this week stuffed with spicy potato and yum.Iwould love my TH-camr buddies experience what you see and taste and know it is not just bland and experience, cheers
Still is multicultural in my opinion! Agree that there are more Nepalese and South Asians moving in to the area, but that's a lot of Sydney actually! Strathfield, Rockdale, Bardia all included :)
Love how the Turkish Gaziantep bakery looked after you, classic Turkish hospitality ❤️
They were way too nice! They didn't even tell me they were going to bring those extras out, but it turned out to be one of the best things I tasted that day definitely!!!
P.S. this got cut out of the video, but Gaziantep Sweets is a Turkish eatery AND that yoghurt sauce on the biryani was NICE!
Come to Bankstown 🤙
My home town, must try a few more of what you had. Thanks Auburn great place lived here 52 years
I love how you finished at the medical centre after that day of epic cheap eats haha!

Thanks always for your constant support Irena!!! You're awesome!
People are so friendly in Auburn, always giving free samples or extras of things! They gave us free samples at that Turkish baklava store too!
Crime is rampant and the streets stinks and it’s dirty.
I always look forward to your videos ☺ I'm also glad I'm not the only one who loves to eat bread on its owe. Afghan bread and red bean bun are the best ways to fill up a hungry stomach 😂 keep up the amazing work ☺

Is that Jamal's Falafel? Or a different one
@@SydneyFoodBoy Yes! Sorry. I meant Jamal's!!
Love the variety!
Thanks!! One thing I really wanted to do in this video is allude to how beautifully multicultural Auburn is! Glad it shows 😀
Zaatar gets it sourness from the sumac. No lemon involved. Great vid, need to get out to Auburn
Great vid Kev !
Thanks heaps for watching, glad you enjoyed 😁
If you really liked Gazianteo, u need to go to Saray Sweets in Granville.
One of the best things about Sydney is that you can try food from various nations without leaving the city.
The sour flavour is from sumac spice, please sample eastwood or Parramatta next?
I see!!! Have always wondered. Thank you for the education 😁 Eastwood is on the books!
My fave Aussie food reviewer… it’s nice to watch a food video where every 2nd work isn’t “hectic” or “lad”… keep up the hectic work lad! 😆
😂😂 thank you mate! Appreciate your support!

Auburn Nice Bakery is a Sydney Gem in 2023, many per Items still cost from -$2, price beating most mainstream bakeries.
I did see that the prices of some of the buns were definitely very affordable! What do you usually pick out for yourself?
@@SydneyFoodBoy Coconut Cream Bun, Pineapple Bun, Egg Tarts, Pork Floss Mayo & Chive Rolls, Sausage Bun, BBQ Pork Pastry, Ham & Cheese Bun, all the good stuff.🙂
That napalese restaurant was the old sweets on queens. I used to live directly ontop 😅

When did you live in Auburn! Lot of hustle and bustle going on around that shopping centre
Sometimes I'll just eat bread by itself too. A really really good Turkish bread or other middle eastern bread just tastes so good you can lol
