Yes there are some cases, not common but they exist, where clients have 40+ degree curve and it reduces to 20 degrees. These clients were teenagers and also used bracing in combination with curve-specific physiotherapy.

It depends on your curve and where the curve is (thoracic or lumbar spine). If you can work with a scoliosis-trained therapist, they can find the set-up that's ideal for your spine.
