You can’t do that the pain that you’re experiencing is caused by the nerve endings in the muscles surrounding muscles. After so much time in a certain position changing that position will cause your pain receptors to constantly fire sad to say but you’re gonna have to tough that out it will get worse and worse until a certain point when it peaks, and then the pain starts receding and it will recede rapidly, I have scoliosis in my neck and had to do exercises for that. It got to a point where it felt like every time I move my neck I was being stabbed with a hot knife. I grit my teeth let the tears flow and kept going now there is no longer any pay and the curve in my neck it’s only by about 3°. According to my doctor. I am virtually normal. Stay strong you can take some pain reducer’s and do some massage therapy to help. Good luck buddy.
Get some help to let you know if the pain is from injury or just your muscles complaining! Pain can be deceptive, especially with the neck and back. Also, be sure to check your hips; I had chronic back issues that exercises didn’t help with until a physio told me my hips were tilted.
@@TheGallantDrake ouch, that will do it fortunately for me, my hips and lower back were perfect. But I did have scoliosis in my neck. Glad you were able to get help.

Getting regular massages can help with that. I am a licensed massage therapist with a specialty in scoliosis therapy and have even corrected scoliosis in some clients but consistency is key. Some clients need bi-weekly, others weekly and the lucky ones need it monthly or every other month. Side note: I also have scoliosis so I know exactly what you mean with the pain. It's a motivation killer and can be painful and exhausting depending on the curve, so do exercises at night before bed. Doing a combination of massage, exercises and chiropractic care will help so much. Good luck 🤞
Don’t just do these exercises without strengthening your hips first. I had chronic back issues that exercises didn’t help until a physio realized my hips were tilted. Now that I’m working on my hips, my shoulders are naturally doing much better. Hips first!

I keep hearing to strengthen the convex side but that side is clearly stronger on me with my lumbar and thoracic curves. Why is this? The stretching of the concave side make sense to the though
How are you a Chiro and got this wrong?? Im a physio therapist and this is wrong. You strengthen the concaved side because when that tissue develops it’ll pull on the bones straightening the spine and the muscles on the convexed side are shortened so they need to be lengthened and stretched…. ???
I think it's mainly to try to ease the bend in your spine. You could do both sides just for the stretch but I think you are supposed to focus on going the opposite direction to where your spine leans with scoliosis

Yes x ray is the only way to see the curvature and percentage. But it will only get better after knowing how to properly care for your specific areas or side as you mentioned. I try to not let it get me down and have mild exercise to strengthen my core for back support. That what has helped me surprisingly. Shifted from desk job to gardening. I stretch more being outside.

I did spine exercises for a year and it didn't change my scoliosis at all. It's good to stay strong and try to reduce pain, and that's all we can do!
Probably not doing the correct ones. Based the comments pwople managed to improve it greatly or fix it by doing some exercises
Every time I do scoliosis exercises, I end up in more pain and discomfort. So I just stop doing em.

The convex side muscles are already bulky, you need to stretch and strengthen the concave side. This is bad information.
Scoliosis braces are hard to wear so I recommend eating vegetables only and water
what you eat has litteraly nothing to do with scoliosis

Doing exercise dose not fix your scoliosis
She put that at the end of the video
No but it strengthens the surrounding muscles that support the spine
