Agreed!! Most podiatrists advise surgery for bunions--cure being worse than the disorder. The orthotics also make poorly constructed conventional footwear really tight!! I have avoided surgery by using zero drop shoes and correct toes. Makes me very leery of ever seeing one again!

I'm paraplegic and my toes have become so bent it's impossible to cut my nails by myself. Would you r recommend I have my toenails removed?
That would be an excellent question for a podiatrist, toe nail removal and it's implications/considerations is not something I have any training in
