    How I deal with stress?
I take 10 minutes meditation every night before sleeping, 10 minutes workout every morning. Furthermore, I listen to music and sing as well, I talk to myself in front of a mirror, I read books (Bible, inspirational books) and I listen to Motivational Speakers videos. These are how I deal with it👍

Thoughts about the future mostly and the feeling of 'not enough'
Most times I calm myself down, do things that makes me happy and remind myself 'worrying won't solve it'

Deadlines for academic projects/work are most stressful for me.
My strategy is to apply a mindset of not doing the best that I can on the project, but simply to get it DONE, and as fast as possible. This helps relieve my stress (knowing that I don’t have to do my best). The fact that I even got it DONE alleviates so much of my stress, that it enables me to work more efficiently and healthily to improve that “finished” project.
*I would apply Brian Tracy's tips more, such as planning, prioritizing, and breaking larger-difficult tasks into smaller-easier tasks...

the most stressful event was a few years ago, when i and my grandfather climbed the mountain on foot during the lightning with thunder and rain. i don’t think that i could keep calm at that moment, but i remember that i just tried to go not fast and all the time held my grandfather’s hand.

I mostly get stressed with the thoughts of having lots of unfinished projects. Most times i feel this anxiety to get the others done on time.
I end up telling myself to be calm. Take them all one after the other. Thank you Sir

If I feel stressed, I listen to music... Read Self Help book.... I mediteate. Or talk to my dad or close ones and feel relaxed. Sometimes just going out and taking a stroll on the garden also contributes a lot.

I have a tendency to procrastinate on tasks I don't enjoy or want to perform, which creates a lot of stress and anxiety until I finish them. In order to resolve this, I begin my day by doing the tasks I want to do the very lease first. It releases my anxiety, builds my self-esteem, and starts off my day with an accomplishment, which sets me on a positive course.

I think that improving my listening skill into learninc english was the most stressful thing I've ever met , but one day I decided to explore any thing I want to know about at any subject by listening to english videos. At first it was so difficult to understand what they are saying but after many many videos and without frustration or give up I finally could understand the gist of any video I hear , and now I am learning french and I am so excited to have another great experiment into improving all its skills ★☆★☆

What I usually do to reduce it is meditation, it does help a lot. I also try to talk with my mom.

    Hi Brian,
After reading eat that frog, which had these points to prioritize the work of most importance and de-prioritize the less important task, has made an enormous change in my life. This has helped me to get the best achieved and then proceed to the next important task.
Planning the day in advance by writing the tasks down and prioritizing them in order... That IS THE only and best way to keep the whole of me on track.
Last but not the least, keeping the spirits high and always liking myself whatever I do, and learn lesson from the past experience... The ultimate weapon!!!
Positive self talk helps to reduce a lot of stress too before it builds up... Whatever state I am in, believing in that I am the best and keep higher and higher goals in smaller chunks has been keeping me motivated...
Thanks a ton for the gems of your words and your great work...
Wishing you all the best for your way ahead, Brian! :-)

The things that usually cause me stress is when I have so many hard tasks to do even when I've done so much and I'm so tired another thing that causes me stress is when I have shown so much consideration and have taken up so much time and shed tears, taken many risks and made myself feel so bad and put myself in a terrible position just for one person and they don't seem to care or show any consideration but only care about themselves and one more thing that causes me stress is when I REALLY REALLY need something but i know i can't have it but I need it so bad and it would make everything so much easier and it's like you can just easily get it but you can't.
Some ways I help avoid stress that may not help some people:
    1. Do something simple enough for you but productive
    2. Think it over before you try to get it off of your mind to keep you more comfortable and secure
    3. Cry if those tears need to be let out its always good to let it all out you can just find some place by yourself for some peace and quiet and do what you want to do or if you want you can cry to someone about it if you feel like talking to somebody about it
    4. Literally box and punch and beat up a pillow or some kind of soft cushion
5.write down your day of what you need to do or make a to-do list

my worst work-related stress trigger is really not planning the days ahead, and getting smashed by all the work stuff and things that "just show up". Planning ahead seems the best way I guess.
In my other life-related stress moments, I talk to myself about how I can solve the problem. Slowly and step by step, I recount all the things I am able to do in order to fix the problem or attend the situation. That moves my emotions needle down to a relaxed state, and clears my head for better thinking and action.
As a bonus, I drink either a Sprite or a Sparkling water bottle; that is very relaxing for me LOL

I can remember when I was 23 years old. I was working, and attending college, but both parents became ill. My father was dying in the living room from a brain tumor, and my mother was half paralyzed from a stroke in the adjacent bedroom. Couldn't keep up and difficult to sleep. Even had chest pains at times. I tried to allow a few hours a week for some socializing, sports etc.. but not much. During those times, I was able to forget about everything else, but at least enjoy that time. Seems important to be able to partition problems, mentally so that we can still enjoy life. Really takes a village to raise a family, hopefully you can find support from network of friends, etc.. I never had kids, but I know this is very difficult for a single mom / widow.

My question is how do we react or overreact when we have some i forget to do and someone else reminded me and it 's a big one to do and it sabotage my plan because it's more important. I added it to my calendar so i don't forget next time and plan accordingly. But i am so stressed out because I need to finish so much of study and so much of work and so much of workout AND do urgent stuff. Help.

The most stressful I encountered so far are these two things: Getting out of my comfort zone and family pressure

Being unemployed after a year of completing my graduation is quite stressful. I am working my butt off to crack GATE exam. I am copying most of the time without thinking logically to push myself to work hard. I know from inside that I am working hard in a wrong way which is further adding to my stress. I know from inside that this is not going to work. i have spent hours reading chapters of fluid mechanics and then I solved problems which bring confidence. But solving questions without working on theory is giving me a hollow push. I hapoe I start my Geotech preperation the same way I did with fluid mechanics.

Have time for meditation during the day will help to reduce stress and have a focus mind. Just by controling the respiration for 5 minutes will create benefits for our health.

I definitely would say that schooling and Boy Scouts has caused the most stress in my life. In the past, I usually would just go through with the activities despite the fear. Now, after reading the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, I'm trying to simply accept the activities simply as activities, and watch the stress cloud just fly by me. It's a whole lot more simpler.

love you - you are the best - your wisdom is always spot on - thank you!
I follow your steps and plan my day. I next think about the big rocks of what will really move the needle that day and focus on them because my default is to do the easiest things that I feel I will be successful in delivering. to be honest, one of my greatest tricks is to put in earplugs so that I can focus out all office noise and zero in on what needs to be done and to be able to get it done much more quickly without the distractions.
Often times I get overwhelmed by the amount of work that I need to get done in a very short period of time, and I am not 100% confident that I will be able to deliver it well. I realize part of this is my perfectionist disposition And so I often have to ask myself what is truly being asked of me and deliver that and nothing more. However, that does not sit well with me because I want to deliver my very best. I also ask myself what is the learning here and what am I myself contributing to my stress. I've learned that if I am not feeling confident as an expert in my area of business, then that is something I should be focused on improving on the weekends and I am. In all, I deliver outstanding work and people are pleased, however the process in delivering that work is just incredibly stressful. I am 59 years old and I am on cancer medication that challenges my ability to focus and remember things, it also brings fatigue. So In many ways I need to work doubly hard right now.

When i was gonna learn to drive a fork truck. Driving hours was 6 hours straight and it was just far to stressfull. I felt like i couldn't escape or take a break. Would just cost me more and waste the driving teachers time. Maybe shorter hours would be an idea but it's not allways an option so i'm not sure what i've learned.

Stress is a self-inflicted wound. Pressure is unavoidable, but that doesn't have to become stress. Stress management is available in packs of 20 (i.e. cigarettes). These two attitudes have seen me kicked off a stress-management course that I was forced to attend by my then employer, but I didn't let that stress me out. Boredom is harder to cope with than pressure, so keep busy and you won't get stressed.

First you need to find out the source of the stress, and then work out plans to reduce it. If it is health induced look at diet or physical exercise. Exercise is a good way to reduce stress, listening to music, and combine the two and try dancing to some uplifting music.Invigorate your feel good hormones to balance out the harmful hormones caused by stress. If you are having relationship stress, look at ways of resolving issues by initiating peaceful, positive communication. If your stress is from overload look at ways at balancing your work load, hire someone to do some of the work. You don't have to do everything delegate and manage. If your stress is from neglect pamper yourself give yourself rewards, gifts, holidays. Stress from being overwhelmed due to procrastination: break down the job into small manageable steps and commit to taking action on these steps everyday. Put things into perspective, feelings of stress can sometimes be made to feel worse because you have over focused on them so get someone else perspective or advice. Maintaining BALANCE is key

@@danielholta5721 One simple thing you can try is what I call smile therapy. Which involves just smiling for a few minutes in the morning or when ever suits. This puts one small cog in motion that sets off other responses in your body. Again it is one small step.
