The one thing that will make me feel important is to listen and not interrupt. Interrupting before someone finishes their thought is an indication that they are not interested in that persons opinion.
I strongly appreciate individuals who I know have busy lives but still take just a couple of minutes to stop, regard my work with full attention, and offer specific critiques that relate to the project. My respect and appreciation for them automatically skyrockets.

I received a video long ago from my boss and I didn’t give much attention at that time. One day I watched a video of Brain Tracy and from then I realized how much dept in knowledge this man has got. Hats of to you Mr Brain Tracy.🙏 Thank you very much.

Brian Tracy, YOU are a great blessing! About two years ago I stumbled upon your lecture entitled, "The Unbreakable Laws of Self Confidence" and my life was completely, as well as immediately, changed for the better by that single lecture. Since then, I have listened to many of your videos & lectures. Your work is very reliable & you have a wonderful way of delivery that makes this incredibly valuable information very palatable & easy to understand. You have helped me in more ways than you could ever imagine. I sincerely thank you for answering the call in your own life to help improve so many other lives. You will always be in my family's thoughts & prayers, my friend. :) Sincerely, Gary Slayton
Thank you very much for this Brian. This has helped me to understand a former work colleague who cause me a lot or problems. He had the 5 Rs to Mastering Charmless Behaviour, these are as follows:- 1 - Rejection - Unconditional negative regard for everything. 2 - Rudeness - Never say 'thank you' and be offensive whenever possible. 3 - Resentment - Be jealous of others' abilities and successes. 4 - Rejection - Dismiss all actions of all others. 5 - Remoteness - Never think that anyone else has anything worthwhile to offer. I am sure that most people will encounter some awful colleagues that they have to work with; when you do, just check out how many of the 5 Rs they are displaying.

Hello Aziza, Thank you for your kind words. Remember: Everything you do to raise the self-esteem of others raises your own self-esteem at the same time! To YOUR Success, Brian Tracy
I love what you said about making the other person feel important. It’s similar to when I tell my coaches that if they want to make someone do something, they need to let the other person know how this will benefit them. Once they realize how what you asked them to do will help them, they’ll do it freely for themselves. They internalize it.
I'm 21, and very glad to have found your audio books (self discipline, confdence, time management, etc). I come from not favourable backgrounds but use your principles to strive, and pass it on to whoever I'm close to. It'd be a dream to meet you one day
Your messages have been so simple to understand and so soft to digest that they touch the emotional cord. Trust is built and your voice has magical tone. People can listen to you for hours. Your expertise is value creating and we are blessed to hear you and see you .
My really good friend gives me realistic compliments. For instance, I have a big heart. I am a hard worker. I'm caring and go out of my way for others in my life! This is what makes me feel good, accepted and also accomplished.
One thing that makes me feel good is when someone is appreciative of something i have done for them and express it with a simple thank you or kind word. I love your work. I have read several of your books and have implemented so many of the new tools that you have provided me with through your work. Thank you for doing what you do!
Five A captures the element of people skills. I especially like the wording of admiration, The thing people do that makes me feel important is when they nod their head and agree my points and carry the conversation forward with those points.
Dear Brian. Your teaching is practical and achievable. It has brought such a change in my thinking and working. Regarding your question - my boss who is the executive director and a very accomplished man, involves me in the decision making process and never says I'm wrong even if I am. He listens completely to what I have to say. Thanks once again.
I wish there was more people o You tube like you it would really make the world more happy. Thanks for spreading your knowledge on this topic and truly making the world a better place. Have a blessed day
What makes me feel important is when someone dear approaches me with this crazy enthusiasm and happiness to tell me what just happened or what went great in their day. Also hate it when a person doesn't know how to receive a good compliment.A compliment isn't a time to show humility, that destroys a chance at creating a good relationship. Also I feel important when someone shares everything with me-just me
Thank you so much Brian Stacy, very absorbing. I have discovered your channel a month ago & is progressively changing my life in particular my master program
Make other people feel important, exceptional, valued in your presence is charm 1 acceptence, unconditional, smile with hapiness 2 apreciation, thank you for..everything 3 aproval, praise 4 admiration about acomplishment or a trait, award 5 attention, concentrate on the person and what says, pause before react.
Hello Brian, I don't usually comment but I just wanted to say that this is a great video! To answer your question, something that someone does to make me feel special is giving me their full, undivided attention and communicating with me. It makes me feel special and valued. As well as important. Great video and thank you for your help, sir 🙏

Brian, I have never heard of you until today and I already know will you will be a wealth of information for quite some time. Thank you, for being you.
I have been watching your videos for some time. First - Thanks for such great thoughts and advises. I can't be grateful enough. Second - What makes your videos awesome is their short length. Each video is like a chapter in a book, whenever I have few spare minutes, I try to watch a video of yours and it boosts me immediately. I am grateful for these. Thanks
I am a listening person more than a talking person. I love listening, usually I listen to someone's story, it may be interesting, happy or sad story that put me in a lot of moods and easy to get that person. Sometimes I also a advisor, I try to give them the best advise so that's why many people like me😂 and I realize our relationship more closer and more fun together.
One thing that means a lot to me and is very appreciated is when a friend of mine or somebody takes the time to check out something I've made. It can range from a piece of artwork, music or any of my videos; appreciation for the things I put my attention, time and care into never goes unnoticed :)
Remembering things I've spoken about and remembering intimate details and asking follow up questions about it is something a friend of mine does. Great video Brian, clear cut and informative.
A hug or a hand shake. Taking the time to show their concern for me. Also, when asked how I am doing, they listen to my response and dont rush into something else.

Yes. I have a personal friend that always addresses my concerns. This person always finds unique ways to address any concern I may have using various mediums to do so. Sometimes, I feel that I am being ignored, however, as I live my day to day life, I find the issue I had concern with is being addressed and explained completely and in a unique way each time. This draws me to have a higher regard, respect, admiration and love in God's precious love and ohhhh, sooooo much more, in a good way.......and in all positivity........
Thank you Mr Brian, this video was really helpful..As far as your question is concerned ,my son makes me feel important when he appreciates teeny weeny tasks i do,like e.g, when he relishes a good cup of tea i make for him.The best part about his complement is that it is genuine and sincere..That makes me feel so good about myself...I guess little things in life have a long lasting impact on our lives.
I like this guy, very intelligent..no matter how i tried to be more skilled or know my stuff, i never climbed up simply becuase, my people skills werent that good...and i resented people who easily got what they wanted without seemingly working hard..now i understand...
Thanks for creating this video. I feel my best when I crack a joke and somebody authentically laughs with me. When someone is urged to laugh by something I've said it's like they're saying, "I approve and agree with the mind of the person who cracked that joke."
