Maybe try Crete (Hersonnisos area) next year Kevin. Flights but more expensive but can get very cheap self catering accommodation. Great people, great food, great history. As well as Hersonnisos you have 3 nearby villages to explore and Stalis and Malia nearby too. Public transport very good also. No sure about February though (just stick to Canaries 😂). Crete from May will be lovely.

Also lively bars with live music entertainment. Also handy for a trip down to Ayia Napa. Others, maybe Crete, Rhodes or other Greek islands? Your USP as a vlogger Kev is the length you go to in being informative for us fellow travellers. Just the smallest of tips can be extremely helpful for those that do not know as not travelling as regular as yourself. An example is for us to bring a few masks as needed in pharmacies and on buses. People like me really appreciate those tips. Have you considered doing Croatia. Looks a superb country to visit. Though no idea if cost of flights are the issue and expensive eating out along with accommodation. Cyprus and Malta too. Anyway thanks again for vlog sharing in 2022. Hi Kev.I.N it looks a very bright and not claustrophobic airport. It's also larger than I thought it would be too. Years back at Almeria a/port there was an open air upper terrace that was smoking allowed. Zante Greece airport had an enclosed smoking room, jeez when someone entered or left it was like a fog spilling out. BTW I'm a non smoker. Cheers DougT

Not THE Data Daz, but no problem mate 😀 Masks are currently needed for all public transport including taxis until at least March 2023 in Spain €60 a day out/€100 including hotels maybe?
@@ScotsmaninTenerife no mate but it's still law and the earnest is on the passengers, not the driver (the buses make you due to the fine/T&C's of their company), so if you don't wear one in a taxi, and it's stopped/spotted etc and the police want to/CBA then they will hand you an on the spot fine of I think €100, €200 if not paid in 14 days. If not paid, now after brexit, it could hinder your next entry to the EU
I was there in July unfortunately I had my passport stolen when I arrived at the airport. After a couple of hours I was allowed into the country to complete my holiday and had to apply for an emergency travel document to travel back home 10 day's later. I still don't understand why I was allowed to enter the country .

I'd highly recommend reading your relevant government website and the one of where you are going to see all the laws around covid as some do remain :)
