Well that brought back memories ! We used to take our boat to that island. Probably 25 years ago. There was never anybody there! Glad you found the Murex! Enjoyed!
Beautiful shells. Love that huge murex. Awe precious Yuki!! So precious to see in previous video intros. Miss that awesome fur friend! Thanks for the adventure!
My twin sister and I went last winter. Her main interest was snorkeling with the beautiful and abundantly varied fish that cluster around the 4 concrete "reefs". REALLY AMAZING. I went for shells and found lots of small shells in the tide line at the snorkeling beach. As you say - beautiful island. Congrats on the huge murex and rose tellins - I didn't know they are on the east coast. Again thanks so much for your wonderful videos.
I could watch those underwater shots allllllll day every day, ahhhhhhhh sooo relaxing 😊. Hope you’re doing ok 👍🤗 I am hoping to concentrate on shelling the east coast more this year, thanks for sharing about Peanut Island x
The thought of a place named Peanut Island calls to my mind an isthmus connecting two islands together and crossing to the other side the way you did reminded me of Catalina Island in SoCal where I did shelling and snorkling...so beautiful there. You might check into that location for an upcoming adventure...loved all the shells you found and that murex was stunning...a monumental find! Also, loved you swimming with the fishes...alive...lol! ,.,.and once again, thanx for letting me tag along on yet another adventure....in 4K...!!!
You are in my neighborhood again. The water is beautiful there. Across the way to the north is Blue Heron Bridge. There is a beach under the bridge and a snorkel trail. Great fish. Also directly under the bridge in the intracoastal has great snorkeling. The fighting conchs and apple murex are new comers to the area. Weren't there when I was young ❤
I often don't keep many of the shells that I find on the beach, because I have quite a large collection at home. Much of what I film is just to create an experience that I hope others can view and enjoy. With that said, I'll still collect shells that have unique features or color patterns or a new species that I haven't yet found. Thanks so much for watching!
The underwater shots were amazing. There are so many rocks in the ocean.Hope you had a great day!
Thank you so much for watching, friend!
