- On this episode, we'll explore the uninhabited shores of 2 remote and uninhabited barrier islands, Anclote Key, and Three Rooker Island just north of Tampa/St. Pete
I was able to get to both islands and have tons of time to shell and explore with the amazing help from Captain Josh over at Nordic Fishing Charters and Excursions(I will link their details below)

@@thenauti-viking121Thank you so very much! 🧡
I was wondering why I hadn't seen any videos in a while until I read one of the other comments about you suffering a loss. Love you and your vid's and whatever this loss is, my heart and prayers go up heavenward to help ease any pain/suffering you may be experiencing. As usual, beautiful video and your mom is a gem. First time, I believe, I've seen her on any of your offerings. Please give her my kindest regards and it was a pleasure seeing mom and son shelling together! Beautiful scenery and thanx, once again for letting me tag along with you and your mom on yet another shelling adventure...in 4K!
Hi friend! Yeah, it's been a difficult couple of months, but I am getting through everything 💙
Thank you as always for coming along, in 4K :)
Awesome trip, looked so fun, great shells, can't wait to go! Thanks!❤
Thank you so much for watching!
I always love your videos ....the imagery, the identification of the shells you find, and how you leave some behind when you have plenty of a particular one....but this video was one of my favorites because I could tell how delighted you were with the 2 islands. It was nice to see your mom too. Thanks for all your work to bring us along for the rides!
Hi shell friend, thank you so much for the great feedback! I'm grateful to be able to get out often to enjoy this hobby, and even more when those I care about, and love can come with me

Hey Brian! Have been waiting for this video ever since we ran into each other at Honeymoon Island State Park! I've been to Anclote Key but have never seen video of Three Rooker so that was really cool! And, yes, we love our chestnut turbans!😊 Thanks!
Hello Shell friend! It was so cool to be able to get over to Anclote Key, and Three Rooker to do some shelling. I'll always remember this trip!

Hi friend, Happy Belated, and shell-y Birthday! I hope you had an amazing day, and maybe were even able to get out and do some shelling?
Thanks for watching!
This video was simply stunning. These islands are so beautiful and the shells are amazing ! Love all the chestnut turbins, the olives, the florida fighting conches and that wonderful alphabet cone ! Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic shelling adventure 🐚🏝️🐬🦀☀️

Those were the most beautiful augers! I’ve never seen any with such sharp points! Went to anchors key 10 years ago, before I was interested in shelling. I regret not picking more up, but I had my grandkids and they picked some up. Thanks for sharing
Anclote not anchors lol
Hey Brian! First of all I have thought about you and your loss all week. I came across your video again from Holden NC and you had Yuki with you. So precious!! I hope your heart is healing! These islands are gorgeous and your mother is a sweetie! So glad you shared this trip with her. All those Chestnut shells, WOW! AWESOME! And that yellow scallop and star shells, beautiful. Thank you for sharing your adventure. Your videos are incredibly well done!!
Hi friend, I truly appreciate your kind words and acknowledgement. Yuki and I drove back from Florida, and we ended up stopping in to Holden Beach for that trip - I am so glad she got to see that place 💙

Beautiful shells. I miss Florida and the ocean. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to get back there. Awesome video.
I appreciate your viewership!
So happy to catch your video today! I absolutely love chestnut turbines, that was a lovely selection for sure! Ummmm wow On that fighting conch 😍 wonderful day at the beach! Thank you for the walk!
I am always amazed at some of the variation of color and pattern on some Fighting Conchs.
Thanks for watching!
The lighting, color balance and clarity of this video were spectacular. Great work by you achieving those results with a camera phone. You’ve got some great videography skills. Of course it helped that the scenery was pristine and the shells were bountiful
Hi friend, I always appreciate your great feedback! I work hard to bring a calming cinematic element to my content, and I love that you acknowledge this!
Thanks as always for watching!
That lemon yellow scallop was beautiful! I am beginning to admire the Florida fighting conchs after seeing that tri-colored one. Thanks for sharing some new locations.
Thank you as always for watching, shell friend! 🐚
What awesome places these were a once in a lifetime experience for us.. the chestnuts were everywhere and so big.. the fighting conchs were spectacular..I d have kept all of them! Lol get that your mom went too! Hope she found some treasures too..
Hi friend! Each of the adventures I upload to this channel are very important to me, and are created with care, and attention to detail. Thank you so much for watching! 💙
New beaches! Thanks, that was fun! Loved your mom!
Thanks so much for watching!
Looks like you had a full day! Beautiful shells and lovely video ❤ So nice to see your mom too.
Hi shell friend, thanks so much as always, for watching! 💙
I'm seeing the shiva shells in the beginning of the video as you are picking up the chestnut turbans! I never saw them until I went to Honeymoon Island, which also had TONS of chestnut turbans. Lovely video as always!
I don't know why I didn't notice these, lol! Anclote Key is super close to Honeymoon Island, so this would make sense!
Thanks as always for watching, friend!
I would have had a very heavy shell bag! Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, for watching!
Beautiful! So sweet to include your mom. Amazing shelling!! Thank you! Give Yuki some ear scratchies for me. 🐶
I’m so sorry to tell you that Yuki has crossed the heavenly rainbow. 🫤
@@shelabrehio1050 💙🐕
Thank you for watching, friend! Yuki certainly loved all of those ear scratchies!
Amazing video..love to see thee water and the beach ! I too would have picked up Every Orange Turbin !! Thank you again !!!
Orange Turbans are my fave!
Thanks for watching!
🧡
Loved all the chestnut turbins! Especially the golden/orange ones. But my favorite is the yellow scallop! I usually don't find them that big! I think Honeymoon Island has a lot of turbins too. I think if I found that many I would make a shell mirror out of just golden turbins!! Thanks for sharing! Hope mom had fun!
Ooooo this sounds like a fun project! There are so many beautiful Turbans in this area!
Thanks for watching
💙
Dear Brian. I am so sorry to hear about Yuki. She was beautiful. Its so hard when one looses a fur baby.sending hugs❤
Thank you so much for your kind words, friend 💙
Amazing amount of shells. Amoung all these shell you manged to find an exquisite lemon yellow scallop, total beauty in God's creations. 😊🎉🎊🐚🐌
Thank you so so much for watching, friend!
Love the wenteltraps you found 🐚
Thank you so much for watching!
Totally, totally awesome as always x. Thanks for sharing Nordic Fishing charters deets, I am guilty of going on the very short shell boat tours from Tarpon Springs, love that area so much, I will defo check them out next time we’re down there because I’d love to have more time on the sandbar. Three Rooker island looks like it’s full of treasures too 😊🐚. Hope you’re doing ok ❤
I couldn't recommend Nordic Fishing charters more! Captain Josh really took care of us and was also SUPER knowledgeable :)
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic video
I appreciate the great feedback! Thanks so much for watching!
So many turbans! I think my fav of your finds was the yellow scallop. I find tons of orange but only 1 or 2 yellow ever. Will have to check out Anclote key!
Oh yeah, the yellow scallops are quite hard to find for sure! Thanks as always for watching!
Honeymoon Island had a lot of chestnut turbans when I was there last year. Will have to check out Anclote next time I’m in the Tampa area!
Anclote Key is quite close to Honeymoon, and it's a gorgeous place for sure!
Thanks for watching!
It’s so sweet that you spent the morning shelling with your mama. I’d give a lot to be able to do that with mine. The shells were fabulous! I loved the large colorful Chestnut Turbans with their lovely beads. I think you found some Turritella Augers, too! Very nice!😊
Mom loved the sand dollars, lol! Also definitely didn't know the name of those Augers - so cool!
Thanks for watching!
So many beautiful shells 🐚 😍.
Thanks for watching, friend! 🐚
You’re the best! Love this video. ❤
Thanks so much for watching!
My idea of a perfect day 🥰 thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
@22:21, you have a Wentletrap in your hand! 😮😊
You can find the long spined star shell in the Bahamas as well.
Yeah, it's interesting that these shells can be found in this area of Florida. I typically have only found them in Caribbean areas, and the FL Keys!
Thanks for watching!
Time stamp 21:41- top right of screen and left of the turban is a Wentletrap.
Friend: Soooo how many MORRRE shell finding videos are you needing to watch today
Me: *Y - E - S* (Feel free to go ahead to the event without me) 👏🙌👀
HAHAHAHAHA! I love this 🐚
Shelling event? for sure!
Is it not like the charters to Caladesi where you choose if you want to leave in a half hour or catch the later rides?
Hi friend! I have taken the charter(Odessy Cruise) out of Tarpon previously a few years ago, but on this charter you are limited to a quick 30 minutes on Anclote Key. On this episode I solicited the help of a local private charter with Captain Josh at Nordic Fishing Charters and Excursions! I was able to spend 4 interrupted hours on Anclote Key, and Three Rooker Island.
Thank you for watching!
The true tulip you picked up on Anclote Key was the biggest I have ever seen on a video. Did you pick up a wentletrap on Three Rooker Island?
Hi friend, I am not sure what those mystery shells are, but I speculate they may be some sort of turrid shell, or possibly even a fossil.
Thanks for watching!
Do you think the shelling was so good because it's winter vs summer shelling?
In southwest Florida the shelling is seasonal with winter shelling significantly better than summer. The exception would be after a tropical storm or hurricane passing through The Gulf
P.S. hmmm, I just got a better look at that shell - maybe not a Wentletrap.
I won’t find any solace here .
Hi friend, I hope you are able to find solace, and relaxation with my content - it's one of the biggest goals I attempt to highlight through sharing this content.
Thank you for watching!
Please leave enough empty shells for the little critters who need them.
Thanks for watching, friend!
Cut the corny music. Gets on my nerves. Just show rhe facts and shells, they stand by themselves in their great beaury without needing rhe aid of music.
Thank you for the valued feedback!
Thanks also, for watching!
