  • Here is a sample of the many shells and seaweed we found at Fort Foster at the mouth of the Piscataqua river that divides New Hampshire and Maine. It's a lovely place for a walk or beach combing. (Although keep in mind I do not believe we are allowed to take anything from the area - except of course trash and sea glass.) There is a little playground for the kids and many sights for the history buff.
