Got one. Ot was a lot of fun. Your right about screws size. Some parts of institutions went detailed enough. My first one ever, love putting it together, not quite done yet. All o have left is tire gluing, body mounts , bumpers, and last but not least body. That will be a proline chevy Colorado. Thanks for sharing you video.
A great review as always! I've had my eye on this truck since it came out. I'm convinced that this truck could keep up with my Axial Wraith. I might have to pick one of these up and find out.
Good review. I had the same issue with some of the screws. This was the second kit I've ever did, and just found that I had to take my time double check everything! Thanks again dude.
@@RazorRC yeah, I did find the I had to go back and redo bits!😬 But overall it all works as it's supposed to! I went and bought the defender body and it's bits, there's a lot to that. Which actually meant I've had to buy the short to long conversion kit and body post kit which I think given that this is a kit they should be included just to give you all the options out of the box. Oh I made a mess of painting the body so hoping for one for Christmas!
@@RazorRC would i need anything else for running the rx4 other than the stock electronics and could you please suggest a motor which supports the stock traxxas xl5 esc
TJ's RC Garage the RX4 is a brushless ESC so you would need a brushless motor. The XL-5 is a brushed ESC, any brushed motor should work. If you use the XL-5, no reason to change the motor IMO.

If this is the second kit you've ever done, I'm impressed! It's not the easiest thing to build.

Great review, cool video 👍
thanks!
I got 4 body clips in the bag that has the manual. I think, unless they are for something else, I just started my kit so I m not sure yet
Bob Smith ok maybe it was just my kit missing them. Enjoy the build!
Cool boss!!
So the tires were not pre-glued correct? I’m hoping they are not glued so I can change the wheels to beadlock rims. Thank you if you can let me know!
The RC Genius tires are not glued. Bead locks are a good idea! I glued mine to the stock wheels but wished I went beadlocks!
Razor RC awesome! Thanks for the help!
Did that battery tray set-up in the front, come with the kit?
yup, comes with it
Can I use the Tekin rx4 for this kit??
TJ's RC Garage sure

@@tjsrcgarage oh cool. i just read that it was brushless, didn't know it could do brushed too.
