Best trajectory tip i ever heard was to clean to the waist and snatch to the shoulder.... By that point momentum should be enough to punch in and calmly rest in the rack for clean or in full extension for snatch...
Joe, apart from the obvious cardio differences/benefits, are there any benefits/uses of the half-snatch vs the 'full'/standard snatch? I usually do the half-snatch cuz I can't do a full snatch with great technique, and I don't want to injure myself...Is this used/should this be used only as a transition exercise towards learning the full snatch with good/great technique? Or, does it have unique benefits by itself?
Thanks for the video. Double snatch is the most intense core exercise I've done with kb's.
Good stuff

comments on doing equal intensity half snatch vs clean and jerk/press?
I'd make sure that you do both of those exercises they're very complimentary
@@kettlebellmusclegain I some times do the snatch and add in the jerk.

Learning , transitions , and or focus. Keeps hands from tearing too. This is used alot in marathon lifting
