WHEN I WORKED AT CAMPBELL'S AS A SUMMER JOB IN THE 60'S I REMEMBER THAT THE COMPANY WOULD SEND TRACTOR TRAILER LOADS OF TOMATO SOUP TO THE SCOTT MISSION BECAUSE THE SOUP WASN'T THE CORRECT COLOUR.
Unsurprised. Only the beginning.
I imagine that Campbell's will destroy the equipment rather than sell the plant as is to someone else who would become a competitor. For anyone who makes homemade soup knows, the cost of ingredients in a tin of Campbell soup is minuscule compared to the price people pay in supermarkets.
The equipment will be shipped to the US or sold. Most of the equipment is pretty standard in the food processing industry.
Let me guess, they are moving to USA...
mmmm, mmmm cant gauge anymore, no more subsidies or tax free operations. Good bye.
Habitant soup is great.
Thank GOD, the Canadian economy is booming.
guess prime potato is making America great again.
