    Wow, Dong-Won is a S. KOREAN company. I grew up eating their yellow tuna cans and I still like them. Well, when the first tuna can products came out, they were rather expensive but they were game changers. Great video! I really appreciate the hard works of all the involved. Thank you!!!

    I'm a combustion engineer. A good few years ago I went to Mauritius for a couple of weeks to do some work for my company, among the places I visited was the Princes Tuna Cannery.
    I worked in the boiler house there for 4-5 days, and the smell of cooking Tuna put me off eating the stuff for about 3 years!
    Just watching this video, I can smell that all over again.......

    I haven’t tried this one but StarKist is one of my favorite Tuna cans out there. It’s also has companies all over the world. I love tuna raw with lime and coconut milk mixed little bit of water with cucumber and green onions.

    당시 처음 접했을 때 얼마나 신기하고 맛있었던지 ... 지금까지 동원만 고집합니다.

    사실 저기 들어가는 가다랑어는 엄밀히 말하면 참치 사촌인데 표기만 잘해놨어도(재료 표기란에는 정확히 써놓긴 함) 정이 더 갔을 듯..ㅠ 그래도 어부들이랑 수작업하시는 분들 등등 고생 많으시네요

      Hahaha it must smell unreal. I eat processed foods all the time, and watching something like this makes me think it's no wonder so many people get cancer. I've eaten this tuna multiple times and it's very good, but this seems wrong. And everything we eat is like this...

    The cost of the packaging is probably 3/4 times more than the amount of fish inside the tin

      The savings are in logistics as there is no need to keep the fish frozen in shops.

      Y como afecta eso a la población mundial de atún, me supongo que debe haber alguna regulación para no poner en peligro a la especie y que no terminen afectando a las poblaciones de estos y por ende a los ecosistemas que dependen del atún.

      @@kcstott Oh, right....for how long will it be not threatened, do you think? The Herring used to be an abundant species off the west coast of Scotland. Not threatened at all. Go try find one now. Cod used to be a non threatened species off the east coast of Canada. The list is long, and added to all the time.

    This gave me a ride back in time .. Standing for hours cleaning fish and just singing while not thinking about time .. Another job i remember was transporting tuna from the steamer or boat onto a huge bucket while below in a freezer , a lift would bring it up and place it abovr deck

    Excelente proceso bioseguridad al máximo lo más curioso es que empacan en cajas muy esteticas y ademas una funda negra como si fuese un computador cual seria el costo por tan hermosos diseños. Gracias

    참치캔은 지금이나 어려서나
    주방 선반 한편을 든든하게 채워줬지 그리고
    고추참치송을 듣고 자랐지 ㅋㅋ
    근데 나는 막상 참치를 별로 안좋아했음 참치 본래의 맛인지
    통조림속 기름때문인지 아니면 멸균했기 때문인지 나는 특유의 향? 맛이 있는데 김치찌개에넣던
    참치김밥을 하던 참치맛이 다덮어버리는데 그살코기 특유의 향이 일부로 찾게 되는 맛은 아니었달까

    진짜 참치캔은 동원만 먹었는데. 사먹을 때마다 생각 하지만 비싸다 전혀 생각이 안들어요. 고생하며 만드는 과정을 보면 식품중엔 제일 저렴하게 먹고 있다 생각합니다. 편하게 먹게 해주셔서 감사합니다. 항상 응원합니다.

    미국 거주하는데, 미국 참치 맛 없어서 한국 참치가 너무 그립습니다. 동원이 1등 먹을만 하네요!!!
