Its wild that America doesn't have proper separation of Executive and Judiciary.
They do. Judges are not beholden to the president or legislature for anything. While a president does appoint federal judges, all confirmations must be approved by a majority of the Senate, and sometimes they are not. It's hard to see how judges could come into office in any other way except direct election, but that would make them yet another political branch.
We *do.* Judges are appointed by the President and confirmed by Congress. And unless they get impeached that's the only way any other branch is involved.

@@aprilpower1158 I didn't say it was because of trump, but rather because of the rise in conservative, misogynist people in the country
So what is wrong with Trump having this be banned, am I not picking something up?
Two things: First, he would do against the will of most people. So much for American "democracy", but I suppose it was never about freedom or justice. Second, the abortion ban has already killed women in states with abortion bans because doctors could not operate on women with pregnancies that were not viable and were dangerous to the health of the mother because the fetus was still "technically" alive.
So... do you not care about women, am I not picking something up?
@@ppleberrynd You cannot be serious. Anyone who rallies around democracy instantly does not know what they are talking about. This country is not and has never been a democracy, the founders knew the problems with democracy, and that is why they did not design the country as such. Actually study democracy for once and then comment instead of showing your ignorance to the world. You need numbers for your second part of your claim. If there are no numbers to your assertion, then it really does not mean anything. Also, with the numbers, make sure it is official government agency numbers, not some interest/lobbying/thinktank group. Lastly, if the numbers are in the couple of thousands (which I assume it is probably not even that high), then this is a triage issue. There are way larger problems with the U.S. right now and if you cannot see it, then you are totally lost (judging from your initial comment about democracy, it appears to be so).

if all those states have decided to ban abortion why would trump need to implement a national abortion ban? also why should the decision be removed from the people living in said state and be elevated to a national "one size fits all" "solution"?
He hasn't said he wants a federal ban. Just said a nothing burger answer to whether he would veto a bill doing so.
So why didnt Trump do this in 2017-2021 then??
He did in all of the states mentioned above. He appointed the judges that revoked Roe v Wade. He didn't have enough judges or of his own loyal people, however, to do more. This time he's learned from his mistakes - he'll more aggressively push to get disloyal people out.
He also didn't have as much support from his own party. A lot of conservative foundations didn't realize what was possible until after he'd been in office a while. Now they've had years to plan as well. You might see that as a positive, idk, but I for one find it terrifying. I'll take Democratic incompetence over outright malicious scheming in order to get around the silly limitations of "popular opinions" and "what voters actually want". Republicans seem to think that people need to be protected from their own choices. They aren't my parents and that isn't freedom.
In most of Europe abortion is legal up to the 12th week. Being european, I don't mind if someone choses abortion by the 12th weeks. But I'd find it at least awkward that people could go beyond 18 weeks to chose abortin; unless there is a very good reason. Even in France, where they put abortion right in their Constitution, abortion is illegal after 12 weeks.
Why is week 12 good and 18 not?
So we're making content now, teaching Trump how to be as awful as possible?
"No, we will be discussing specifics of it, but generally speaking, no." Translation: I have no idea what the Comstock act is. I'll say something that sounds like I have two brain cells to rub together, then excuse myself.
Then he rubbed those two cells together too hard, and one died.
Donald trump is a living evidence that legal abortion must be allowed.
