That was completely forgotten in Season 6 and even Gabrielle’s Queen Status wasn’t really addressed until later which was weird because it was implied Varia’s Tribe was Gabrielle’s yet she didn’t seem to have an interest about the tribe until later on.

The writers lost the oportunity there... Eve is Gabrielle's daughter and I think Eve as an Amazon Queen !!! Whoa! Much better story ( about forgiveness from the Amazon girls) than Eve being a boring Eli's preacher.

Wow, so even Xena is against the death penalty if it were her own family. Tsianina Joelson is awesome, she'd make a nice future Xena movie.
I got mad at Eve same way I got mad at Xena every time she was willing to accept harsh punishment and death for the sins of her past. I'm like, gurl, you can do so much more good as a reformed warrior of the people than a dead warlord. Such powerful individuals capable of preventing the kind of destruction they themselves wrought. Do the work counteracting future assailants, rather than submitting to revenge-justice.
I watch these show when am still in elementary and still one of my favourite childhood show.

I love the young Hollywood divas, when they first started out. I love watching them when they turn into old bitches and actually kill it in scenes when they get older. It's a lot of fun. They're showing a lot of Halloween movies right now, too. It gets me in the mood for the season.

Xena pays for her evil passed I think eve should have to as well. Xena always carries guilt over all the evil she has done. To me eve shows no remorse.
Eve hugged Varia at the end of the episode when Varia breaks down and cries. Eve ran over to Varia to hug her. It really shows her remorse for the pain she caused the Amazons.

Eve literally allowed this treatment because she believed she deserved it. Had she no remorse, she would've fought them off same way Xena has fought off Amazons in the past. She is only alive because Xena intervened. Otherwise, she was willing to accept the fate of her judgement. She proved how capable a fighter she still is, even as a pacifist, in the beginning of this very episode.
Something is going on between Xena and Grabielle. I can not put my finger on it, but I am hopelessly drawn to it...
Thanks to Eve, we lost the Olympians, the Amazons, Joxer and Autolycus. It was a terrible tradeoff. I hated her character and how almost every episode was about Xena saving Eve from someone cool who had to die.

I still think it would have better if Eve had been an reincarnation of Solan instead of Callisto.... Also I get that they had to write off baby Eve. But their could have other ways to go about it... The whole twilight of the gods didn't fit with Xena's storyline. Never agreed with it. I still wish Joxer was frozen with Xena and Gabby... But we all know even if Jox was apart of that plan Aries would have never have froze him. Lmao.
the screenwriters missed the chance to make Varya and Eve an couple. The chemistry was amazing.

A few good deeds doesn't erase a lifetime of evil. Xena was right though, if Varia harmed Eve, she'd have to deal with Xena and she was nowhere near ready for that.
Xena got many experience fighting.
@@kaoyirengoku4023 Absolutely. Varia was getting special training from Ares, so she could somewhat hold her own, but still not quite on par with Xena. If it wasn't for the training from Ares, Varia wouldn't have lasted as long as she did.

The daughter that xena gave birth to was gone when xena and Gabrielle came back after 25 years. If xena could kill the monster that Ares created the world would be happy and so would the gods.

the Amazons in the Xena show are portrayed as groups of strong willed and independent women that just wanted to live a free life, and that sort of went against the tradition back then, since women were more or less treated as men's "property" during ancient times
if Amazon women were captured, they would more or less be sold as high priced slaves

What episode is this? The only episodes I remember with Varia and Marga is when Margo died by that guy who had a weapon similar to Xena’s chakram. And then those intense fight scenes with Xena and Varia and Gabrielle and that Demi God trying to kill all the Amazons.

well, technically Xena wasn't a member of the Amazons, though Gabriella did become Amazon Queen at one point, but abdicated, because she wanted to continue traveling with Xena

It also helps that this show was centered around Ancient Greece and it would have been appropriation to not have the characters be white since yk Greeks are also white. But Xena had many storylines with other races and ethnicities and whether they were as good as the ones focused on Ancient Greece or not, they did provide that diversity everyone is whiny abt.
