i love how much more sense this quest made after having done act 5, so many things have deeper meaning and re-watching it while editing was super neat c: the (last?) part is out now so can't wait to see what that's all about!!

I think i genuinely sobbed at the end of this quest because if you remember that old man actually used to have dialogues about how he's mad at his daughter for going to court of fountaine and never coming back and he thought she abandoned him but now it turns out she just went to prison and was never able to return and actually did miss her father and her dogs and now he can never meet his daughter again Infact if it weren't for us returning with lanoire he would've never known his daughter is dead already. THAT IS SO SAD
if you didn't realize, the bedtime story caterpillar was telling Lanoire is about Lanoire's mother and grandfather. Notice how their house has a big field of purple flowers? You even did a quest where this big GIANT MAN would get angry at you for trampling them.

Also interesting that Earnshaw's house is directly above the real Annapausis on the map

Fun fact: in this room if you sit on that table and read the paper on the table you’ll find out that Koblenz was his drink Guinea pig and every drink that guy has made either made him vom get nauseous or pass out

These Fountaine world quests were on a whole other level. It’s really cool how they converged to create a larger narrative.
34:23 i don't think you've encountered this rednas but there's a guy in the desert who appeared after the 4.0 update. It was a mini world quest where a guy was drawing paintings exactly like a picture. And he met caterpillar at a time. So I am not sure where it was but caterpillar gives tells you that he met the guy and stuff

This quest makes me wonder if Arlecchino is also a hillichurl (considering how similar her arms are to cater). And I wonder if that's what scaramouch meant by "wolf in sheep's clothing", which is another phrase that was directly mentioned in this quest when discussing cater
This my fav World Quest Chain of Genshin so far but I'll wait till you complete the finale too then i'll love to share details which i got after reading through all notes and related weapon descriptions for Rednas and possibly others who still have questions regarding small details.
But yeah, I'll love to get more quests like this in future too
honestly, what bothered me the most in this world quest is how in the world did wriothesley let 2 kids (where cater looks like a kid at least) stay in prison, and how he'd let someone so tyrannical stay as a guard
There's plenty of blind spots in the Fortress. For example, the human rights violator in Wriothesley's story quest. It's kinda insane 😭

@@oujisama05technically speaking,since caterpillar didn't make any trouble to Wriothesley and the fortress in general,I think he just let him chill.
As for Lenoire, idk tbh,I guess he didn't know she existed.

I did this quest before starting the Archon Quests so getting caught by the guards while sneaking into the fortress then jailing me for that and then breaking out of it was really fun.

This one is so cool! Please do the next narzzunkreus (whatever it's called) quest after this one to finish the story! I loved it so much.

@@StanleyG23 Yes correct, but as it unlocks automatically after we do all pre-requisite qyests then Act 1 name pops up itself. So that's better to refer to others imo

Oh, nice achievement in Cat's Tail Gathering! I myself kinda stuck consistently in the 40-50 area throughout the whole thing. Gonna aim for that Gold Card back next time though!

his past is darker than what it seems same for Jakop (purple guy) that was thrown to abyssal dogs to eat him alive and to prevent him from scream they crushed his throat multiple time
their lore was way darker than I thought when I started the world quests
Please do the sequel of these quests, it is so much better to head the words instead of reading them

No you guys were jailed for trespassing the waters and entering the Fortress. It was recorded when you entered the area first time so maybe you forgot. Cause it showed only once that you cannot gi back until proved not-guilty using lenthy process. But then you got involved with this. 2:05:54

So Earbshaw tells you turning his quest that he was mad at his daughter for only sending letter and never visiting so he never read ANY of her letters.
This annoyed me when I heard this and knew he'd regret it later when he learned something actually happened to her. (Seriously what kind of father ignores his daughter's letters for at least 9 years?!) And lo & behold, I was right. :|
