THIS QUEST WAS SO WILD LIKE HOLY MOLY ESP THE TINGYUN PART LIKE WHAT???? WHEN DID THIS BECOME A HORROR GAME????? I love this game holy crap I do recommend playing some of the companion quests in between the story, since some of them actually take place in between the story itself (like Yanqing's, you actually get some unexpected lore from it so I recommend doing that when you can!)

Get Kafka as fast as possible and just spam her skill like crazy. Sampo’s basic attacks still apply wind shear if you need to save on skill points. In simulated universe, with the nihility path, you just see bosses melt with a rainbow of numbers on the screen. For AoE, you can use Sampo’s ult (which makes enemies more vulnerable to DoT dmg) and then use Kafka’s ult. Boom 💥
I feel compeled to inform you that Yinxing, the man with dan feng doing the research in the memories, is Blade former form. This quest was amazingly done, i love the cutscenes so much. Yeah Genshin is definitely more kid-friendly... Speaking of do you remember that world quest, the Aranara one, and how there was that one guy who was posing as a helpful dude in Rana's village, all the while spying for the Fatui who were kidnapping and using innocent people and children for experiments in Sumeru? The guy who, when confronted, runs away and is implied he lets himself be eaten by warp doggies after he leaves a suicide note detailing how he was truly happy to be part of a family that he never had growing up as an orphan trained to be a spy for Snezhnaya? Or... everything related to Jeht? The loss, depression, deception, murder, gaslighting, murder, murder, murder, betrayal, murder... Y'know, kid stuff! Hoyo must have accidentally gotten the "break the cutie" page on TvTropes and decided to give it a shot and shatter Jeht as a test run or something. Sarcasm aside, Genshin is not as front-facing with its dark stuff but it's there and it does feel like they're finally starting to bring it more to the forefront. I figure that was actually the plan because Genshin's start is downright childish in tone but from Inazuma onward they haven't been shy about bringing in some dark stories. Child sacrifice is not often something even referenced in games like this. In Inazuma it's part of the backstory of two of the islands and we get to meet the ghosts of the kids who were sacrificed too! Joy! Hoyo's team probably thought their usual shenanigans would scare people away and so they went light and fluffy before dropping the darker stories. Even now they're still keeping it apparently bright and light-hearted even as they speak about an entire race of people being turned into monsters and spread across the world to be murdered by adventurers who can't even understand their language. And let's not start discussing the Wall of Samael and its real-world implications...
The Tingyun part was straight out of Doki Doki Literature Club man...I was also so creeped out when I saw it. This game is definitely way more adult than Genshin...

So the way Vidhyadhara "reincarnation" functions is that they are born through the pearls, lived a life, then go back to the pearl once their time is up. Most often than not, you won't even remember what you did in the past life, but for some, you do. Dan Heng was supposedly one of them as the High Elder. You can leave notes for your future reincarnation so they'll follow your footsteps, or just forge your own path. I believe he passed down the title High Elder to Bailu, but due to incomplete transfer, it's basically like some on IL, some on Bailu. 'S why he still can summon the dragon, which is the symbol of Long, the Aeon of Permanence.

In this case, for Lan there's the Xianzhou ships and their generals, such as Jing Yuan, who are emanators and have power from Lan. For Nanook, there's the Antimatter Legion with the 7 Lord Ravagers, who are emanators of Nanook. For Yaoshi, there is the Desciples of Sanctus Medicus, who aren't emantators. So bascially this started as war between Lan and Yaoshi, then Phantylia did some weird corruption stuff and brought Nanook in as well. Take into account that the factions mentioned here are not the only ones each aeon has. Hope this helps. 😄 Also, the Ying Xing person is Blade before well...uh...we don't know yet.

I was pretty much the same with the *twist*. I was playing with my jaw on the floor for like 5 minutes straight, and even after that just stared at a wall in shock😂
one thing that i think about the point you made about elio’s script is that it’s not completely fleshed out where every single action you make is foretold, but just like main plot points. this can be seen in the beginning of the story with kafka-as herta space station is being invaded by the antimatter legion she says, “elio didn’t put it in his script, so why would it matter?” though she could have decided not to attack the legion enemies in the way, she did because she thought it would be fun/she just wanted to-but it didn’t change much in the grand scheme of things (elio’s script). i don’t remember exactly was said when given the choice to choose the mc, but while the hoyo marketing team might prefer to focus on certain mcs for different games, it doesn’t make much of an impact on elio’s script/the game’s timeline, or they wouldn’t have included the option of a choice-or they did, and we just have to live with our choices, but we can’t tell at this point in time (i wouldn’t put it past them-also the fact that kafka’s companion quest can just be deleted from your account if you choose the wrong dialogue options is an interesting point in the question that is elio’s script). tldr: elio’s script doesn’t account for every single action you take
another point is that things that happen in the story quests like cut scenes and the like are set events in elio’s script, regardless of the actions that you take during the story quests-like if you decide not to take the medicine from dan shu, you still go to the seat of divine foresight (or something something i don’t remember where it is) and talk about the medicine she gave you, and if you decide to fight, she kind of just leaves you to fight against some of her forces as she leaves. regardless of the interaction, you still fight her at the cauldron things (though i’m not sure if all the dialogue options are the exact same).

Regarding the “Archons" here, the Eons, they are like gods: Nanook the Destruction, Lan the Hunt, Yaoshi the Abundance and so on, they also got sassy titles Phantiliya is one of seven Nanooks direct sidekicks, but considering we dont know if Eons are even really a thing, its hard to conclude whether this makes her stronger or weaker compared to all the powers at play, the fact that she doesn’t even have a body makes for a solid evidence she is somewhat op I hope we meet nanook at some point and get him playable, idc if he powercreeps everyone or self-destructs my whole team, i wanna see the Eons up closer and learn more of their stories, after all kafka hinted that they used to be people? Or dan heng… it was something akeen to ‘how long can a human live? - Indefinitely, but they aren’t really a human then are they?’] Always enjoing a quiet and wholesome evening when you post hsr stuff like this, thanks for your effort!) Ok hold on the future isn't predetermined you can change the future and there are times where you can make decisions that would go against the script especially if you don't know the future of you know the future then it's determined that's why it's ideal for the nameless to fight instead of the stelleron hunters, also they just see all possibilities but that's not seeing a predetermined future
kafka is actually the best aoe dmg dealer rn and she will become better as new more powerful dot dmg dealers get released and she does good single target dmg too

If I may make a suggestion, I think your microphone volume level is a bit too high compared to the game volume, I had issues with hearing the dialogue but couldn't really turn the volume up bc then you're voice would be too loud. Sorry if it was fixed in later videos, but it's so uncomfortable to watch if you actually want to hear what characters say not just Rednas comments. I have to constantly adjust the volume or hear loud Rednas or don't hear what characters say and it was a regular problem during HSR playthrough I watched so far.

I love Kafka’s quest because you can’t reject her offer and skip her entire companion quest
I don’t like her character much and I love free choice so I didn’t help her but it ironically gave me some interesting dialogue about breaking free from the “script”
Knowing the lore would I could gain would be nice but my trailblazer will probably learn these details naturally anyway, such is fate
As for missing the quest I can just watch it online if I really truly missed that much

Ayo! Don't ignore the texts. What's worse than neck snap is ignoring 600 jades which you get from the texts. If you don't collect the texts before the next installment, all 600 jades will be deleted.
Lack of paimon and not childish story really makes star rail's story way more enjoyable
100%, and the fact that not everything is centered around the trailblazer and we get to experience the story through other characters and they can take the spotlight and be the hero is just great

genshin is more targeted for kids and honkai is more for older audiences.
Ok hold on the future isn't predetermined you can change the future and there are times where you can make decisions that would go against the script especially if you don't know the future of you know the future then it's determined that's why it's ideal for the nameless to fight instead of the stelleron hunters, also they just see all possibilities but that's not seeing a predetermined future

Thank you for a great video! If I may make a suggestion, I think your microphone volume level is a bit too high compared to the game volume, I had issues with hearing the dialogue but couldn't really turn the volume up bc then you're voice would be too loud. Other than that thanks again and I cant wait for your videos from Fontaine!!!

I feel like you are fundamentally misunderstanding the whole 'script' thing.
Sorry if it was fixed in later videos, but it's so uncomfortable to watch if you actually want to hear what characters say not just Rednas comments. I have to constantly adjust the volume or hear loud Rednas or don't hear what characters say and it was a regular problem during HSR playthrough I watched so far.

if you take a look at the abundance 4* LC Post-Op Conversation you can see that tingyun got healed by natasha, its such a great detail :)
Nooo kafka is really strong, you just need to bring all kinds of DoT chars, altho I'm pulling for dragon heng, I feel like he's not gonna be that strong, blade's even better
