"talk to ilman" would've been perfectly fine, but they decided to specify that we had to talk to "ilman, who is depressed" for some reason, which is a weird detail to add to a quest prompt. basically, it's simply funny because it sounds out of place.
Nahida's Story Quest remains as my ultimate favorite to this day with the shared ideals, philosophy and life lessons I live by -- not only that, this quest truly been such a massive help and reminder for me to get a grip and settle to stay focused as much I can irl after the horrifying loss of one of my office kitties from a car accident that occurred 2 days right after I played this quest. To say that I was in hysterics and paranoia was an understatement. It hurts immensely as my kitty came into my life once I lost another one 2 weeks before it from being missing and... To find out by being shown his body through a recording waking up and without me being there due the accident happening at night absolutely shattered me. I wasn't there in his last moments and was furious at how people were negligent. The only solace I have is being informed by eyewitnesses that in his last moments my kitty managed to drag himself back to the entrance in his last moments. After all of this... If it weren't for the perfect timing of Nahida's story quest, I really wouldn't be able to regain myself as fast as I should and be functional at work considering the desire to just do nothing and stay at home. So... Thank you, to the writers of this beautiful and meaningful story, it has touched me and many MANY others in need out there

As much as I liked this quest I have to admit it's always more fun to watch Rednas and hear his unchinged ideas while playing. The plant arc was good enough it had potential to be a real quest.
Great vid, as always - the minimum editing just makes it very chill too, so that was actually pretty enjoyable still! :3 48:49 The thing that I'm curious/sceptical about with this plant is... MHY clearly chose a type that (going only by looks) most definitely _should_ be able to bloom (or at least do something that looks very much _like_ blooming), even though they could've easily went with a fern or whatever instead. Just anything that really doesn't have a chance of blooming. And sure, maybe that was for the whole mystery-angle of why only Nahihi could provide this info, instead of any nature scholars, but this _combined_ with the bit about it being an Abyss plant and the og person saying she'll def be back, if this plant ever blooms... ...it just makes me think _what if this plant needs Abyssal influence/energy to bloom_ and that's why it's all phrased the way it is? So what if she knew the Abyss taints everyone who visits it and the plant wasn't left as a final goodbye message, but instead as a sort of geiger counter for Abyssal danger getting too close? And it was supposed to tell Kathya when to run and not look back, so that even a tainted, monstrous Professor Aisha would never be able to come back and hurt Kathya? Oooor maybe I'm just overthinking stuff and trying to find even more horror/despair where there (for once) isn't any! 1:06:44 OH, AND THAT'S WHY THEY'RE ALL SO TIRED EVEN THOUGH THEY SLEPT!! BC JOINT DREAM STRIKES AGAIN! As a sidenote, I honestly think all these people are a bit too casual about the very real possibility of sleepwalking off a random cliff. Or into deadly enemies. Or into a tiny pond and drowing in it, because sleepwalkers are _not_ coordinated people. Like... yeah, lemme just go and accidentally burn my house down, bc I thought I was camping out in nature - who _caaares_ about homelessness, as long as I get to roast marshmallows with my loved ones in a dream, amirite? 1:13:49 Ooooh, that being anemo-themed would actually make a lot of sense for the quest! Since (only imo and based on personal theories, which are in turn based on lore and the playable characters we have access to) the theme of Anemo seems to be "a duty you have conciously decided to commit your life to, in spite of not enjoying it/in spite of knowing your life would be happier without it. Because you see this as YOUR duty and you cannot imagine leaving it behind" - so pretty much: leaving absolute happiness behind to do the right thing instead. Which sounds like what all these people dreaming have to do as well, to get out of the seemingly-happy dreams they've fallen prey to... 1:17:35 ....he says, with his Achievements looking the way they do. /j (But tbh can relate, would 100% go back for a single Primogem. They're tiny rainbow stars, they deserve to be hoarded and none of them shall get left behind in lonely domains!)
i've kept this video in the watch later playlist for so long, but now that i've finally completed this quest on my account, i can get to watch it! this was such a beautiful quest & came to me at such a pivotal moment. hoping we get to see more quests like this now in fontaine!
I had a hard time with this quest cause my game keeps on lagging because of low graphics so for day i didnt do the quest but because i downloaded genshin on my phone i got to do it. It was a very fun quest and tells more about the history of the Akasha and we can see how the people of Khanreah suffered the same fate as those unreal people in the dream.
@Clevaryo Already have the lowest resolution on and it keeps lagging because of the rain itself. But im happy that i finished the quest on my phone so it was all good.
Omg 3 am theory. Slimes are edible in genshin but are pretty harmful because of the condensed elemental energy. But vision holders are pretty much immune. Paimon loves eating slimes..which means paimon has some unlocked elemental power? Like the Omni dice. This isn’t a new theory but paimon isn’t a non-elemental being even if she has no power right now. Other than the power to eat and complain while floating.

5:58 I love how in this quest Paimon gets the title “Expert”, and at 8:39 it changes to “Expert?”.
Now I imagine it being "Travel Buddy" to "Travel Buddy?" if she betrays the Traveler.
