  • NASA Scientist EXPOSED The Terrifying Images Captured By Voyager
Voyager 1, a NASA interstellar probe, is at last connecting with ground control in a comprehensible manner. For the first time in the previous five months, Voyager 1 provided ground control with an update on its health on Saturday, April 20. The Voyager 1 spacecraft is now transmitting useful data regarding the condition and functionality of its onboard engineering systems, even if it is still not returning any relevant science data to Earth.
The first manmade object to depart the solar system and reach interstellar space was Voyager 1, which was launched in 1977 and took 35 years to complete. Six years later, in 2018, it was followed out of our cosmic quarters by its space-faring twin, Voyager 2. Fortunately, Voyager 2 continues to function and maintains good communication with Earth.
As of right now, the two spacecraft are the only man-made things traveling outside the solar system. Voyager 1's binary code, a computer language made up of 0s and 1s that it uses to communicate with its flight team at NASA, stopped making sense on Nov. 14, 2023, after 11 years of exploring interstellar space and while it was positioned an astounding 15 billion miles (24 billion kilometers) from Earth.
The Voyager 1 operations team at NASA sent a digital "poke" to the spacecraft in March, which caused the flight data subsystem (FDS) to transmit a complete memory readout to Earth.
Scientists and engineers learned from this memory dump that the "glitch" is caused by faulty code on a single chip that makes up about 3% of the FDS memory. The science and engineering data from Voyager 1 was rendered useless by the loss of this code.
Of course, the NASA team is unable to physically replace or fix this chip, but they are able to remotely move the problematic code to a different location within the FDS memory. The team may divide this code into portions and store each one separately, even if no single section of memory is big enough to hold it all. In order to accomplish this, they will also need to make changes to the pertinent storage sections, so that the inclusion of this malformed code won't prevent those portions from functioning separately or collectively. NASA experts will also need to make sure that any references to the location of the faulty code are changed.
Cool right? Imagine controlling something from 15 Billion miles away, that’s insane!
The group started transmitting the code to its new position in the FDS memory on April 18, 2024. Due to the fact that it takes a radio signal 22.5 hours to travel from Earth to Voyager 1 and an additional 22.5 hours to receive a signal from the spacecraft, this was an extremely challenging process.
But by Saturday, April 20, the team was certain that their change had been successful. The scientists were able to communicate with Voyager 1 and assess its condition for the first time in five months. In the coming weeks, the team will focus on fine-tuning the remaining portions of the FDS software with the goal of regaining the system's areas in charge of encapsulating and transmitting critical research data from beyond the solar system.
However, going back, let’s find out what NASA scientists saw when Voyager 1 sent its first images.
When Alan Cummings, a scientist on NASA's ground-breaking Voyager mission, walked into a Pasadena, California, Caltech room in 1979, he witnessed a strange, alien planet projected on a screen.

Voyager's cameras were turn off and frozen to destruction decades ago. Thus cameras are not able to send images back to Earth, The sensors currently working are studying: cosmic rays, radio astronomy, radiation, plasma waves, ultraviolet light, magnetic fields, and charge particle.

Why do you always use the word terrifying images but never show anything terrifying. That is an excellent way to lose your credibility, yyou know.

I would like to see Nessa bring at least one of these 2 satellites back so that they could be studied and bring them back on identically. The same path as they left on as I recall the intent. Was to send them out and just let them float off into the Galaxy. However, it would be nice to see the difference between what happened years ago. And what's happening now on their return trip. Cause it's gonna take years for it to come back. It would still be nice to see what it records on its way back. How things have change. It would be like an actual time capsule. Then and now what do you think

That's impossible because there is no fuel to revert them. The outer planets could only be reached with a swing-by maneuver using Jupiter to accelerate them. This astronomical constellation will occur again in about 100 years and cannot be used to return the probes.
