- I've tried to make it look like an awesome Samura-Kill Bill like battle xD Sam's a badass though :D Had to cut the cutscene after the battle out because I don't want to spoil things. And silly me stopped recording right after the fight and started recording again at the results screen.. so for the people wondering why I used TH-cam editor: I just fused the two clips.

Not only he calls him amateur while being repeatedly punched while in mid-air, he also said "Now we're talking!" when I hit him with a barrel

I love how the slow pace of the fight contrasts with the high intensity of the music. It just creates that feeling that while it's tempting to let the adrenaline dictate your fighting, keeping things at your pace is important against Sam.
It's far from the fastest song in the game.
@@xdan- It's not the speed that gets me. It's the instrumentation. Music like this tends to really get the blood pumping, especially when the guitar riffs hit as hard as they do here.
I definitely did not take my time.

I did this on revengeance S Rank no damage not to long ago and it’s actually one of the easiest fights when you know how Sam fights
Wolf is easiest with no doubt, one parry and he dies.
Honestly I feel like Mistral is the hardest just because her little bots keep hitting me which ruins the run

@@MONTR65 i havent tried on revengeance yet but i used the fox blade while no damaging that fight to get rid of the bots quicker
@@chi6423 I did it with the standard high Frequency blade for some reason. The fox blade feels a bit to OP sometimes
Very impressive. Plus it seems fitting to S Rank him after that beatdown on the train in Africa.
Raiden had more cyber augmentations than Sam in Africa, it was never a fair fight.
@@TheMessiahOfThe99Percent you're underestimating just how powerful Sam's suit is, because the legs on that suit allow him to run faster than Raiden, kick hard enough to kill cyborgs and disable UGs in just a few blows while it takes Raiden entire combos to do the same (evidenced by the VR missions), control the Murasama when it's fired from the sheath, and take a focused beating to the chest from Armstrong who clearly wasn't holding back. And Raiden's body in Africa was just a slightly upgraded version of the one from MGS4, so his tech was still way behind everyone else's.

I hate this fight but I'm also very grateful for it. My first play through of the game was in normal difficulty. However I decided to replay it in hard mode and realised I couldn't just spam the defensive offensive move meaning I had to learn how to parry it took me 2 playthroughs of this game and fighting Sam for me to figure out how to parry at will. I had done it by accident alot before but for some reason my smooth brain couldn't quite grasp how to parry every time guaranteed. That's why I really appreciate this boss as he is very parry based.
As someone who beated this fight on very hard with it without too much effort, you do not need endless parrying to win this fight. I just did it for moves like getting the blade out of his hand but for the most part, I used defensive offense

@@niftypanda916 The way I see it, dodging allows for sometimes greater damage if you nail the timings. Since parrying only allows a guarantee counter if you perfect parry, while the dodge’s nature means you can land hits in risky situations.

So what was the significance of the lyrics stopping when Sam loses his sword? The same thing happens when Raiden loses the sword during the final boss battle.
It signifies that he isn’t him without his blade or along those lines.

I am playing it and got stuck in that part. This part is not easy, but after several tries, you will be able to beat it. It just counter and HIT, counter and hit.
I find it ironic the last words whilst on 0.1% hp are “just getting started!”

if you want the quickest way to cheese this boi
use sundowner's charge attack 2 times and you'll get him at half health at the beginning of the match

I beat Sam with no damage and I only got an A ranking. Can someone tell me why? Could it be because my game glirched and Sam would keep atacking while with 1% health instead of triggering the final quick time event?

When he’s stunned, strike him up in air and do an air combo
After that hit him with the sai to keep that air combo until that bastard wakes up again

Indeed...for soresu is highly efficient for both defensive and offensive strikes alike....
this fight seems so primitive compared to the fights that come out today, especially after finding new strats to bully sam, but its nice to see someone not absolutely sweating this shit n just enjoying the game at their own pace
