I just picked this bag up 2 weeks ago, i do highrise plumbing and pipefitting, the backpack part made sence for the stairs, and the wheels for going from condo to condo, it shockingly fits my 12v hilti kit (hacksall, impact, drill, lazer, and light) all my hand tools, 2 aluminum pipewrenches, and all my copper cutters and soilering gear, it weighs as much as a baby elephant, but nothing else could carry all that and still have two hands free for railings or material, plus wheels. If you need a test for how long these will last, im sure ill push mine to the absolute brink of what it can handle, ill be sure to re post in a couple years.
Can you update us? I’m on the lookout for a wheeler backpack as i’m a plumber too. I’ve just ordered the £90 pro dewalt one but i’m tempted to send it back and go all put buying one of these!
As a plumber I’m looking into this bag and I’m glad I read your comment lol I carry my 12v drill combo, grinder, laser Milwaukee setup plus all these tools can’t be on my back all the time I need some wheels lol
Really liking the v-swap idea. This is a great looking pack, and thanks for giving HVAC some love with the gauge pocket. I use Veto products every day, and they have never let me down. Very thankful for all of the innovations you have given us professionals. One small ask would be to send out more vinyl stickers, as I like to tag up my tool boxes. Haha, thanks for everything.
roger can you make this in a buildout version, where you can purchase the panels that best works for you and not have to have a unused standard panel just laying around house not being in use , im running the techpac build out , but the wheels and the ablility to tuck straps away which makes it less cumbersome when taken in and out of a packed gangbox is a game changer, somehow someway a folding handle and the standard hook would be the ulitmate, hoping more wheeled tech pack options to come out, your tools bags has helped work become way more efficient for me, i recommed to all people just entering the trade, dont waste time on other tool bags, buy a veto for organzing your tools, get it out the way, then spend the rest of your career enjoying your veto and focusing on acquiring trade knowledge, yall keep up the good work
Awesome looking bag...great concept. I strongly agree with others who have commented on a dedicated rolling with large wheels and skid plate. Back pack options absolutely have their place but not all of us need a back pack option. Keep it up!
Are you planning on having the pocket lay outs panels from the older backpacks? I have the one where you can store the up to ten bits on top with deep pockets at the bottom. Off the bat I have to say I’m settling with this lay out. My current backpack is due to be retired.
I got this bag and really didn't like that the backpack straps were not removable and took up valuable space. I returned that bag and ended up getting the Tech XL Wheeler. Quite the bite on the wallet, but it better fits my tools.
Great wheels, Roger can you upgrade the XXL-F to the wheels in high visibility and ad some inside storage like the pack has that can be zippered( and please make the wheels four times larger:)
I purchased the veto backpack black out version so as soon as I get this new bag I'm just gonna swag the pockets how i see fit.. I disappointed I should of waited for this product instead
It is a good start. However, your next version should be a dedicated rolling tool bag. The wheels should be at least 8” with skid plates to go up and down stairs. Secondly, it should be wide enough to hold power tools and batteries. Remember, not all work sites are paved or level. People are trying to avoid carrying their tools because of future back problems. Again, a good start.
I think there should be a version like this. I don’t think it should replace this one. Not everyone wheels everything around. I need it to be a backpack when I’m climbing ladders.
Already long time I want veto bag with wheel. I have LT-XL bought in 2011, because I travel a lot and dont want to carry it in my shoulder, then I put 4 small trolley wheel on the bottom and screw it. Will check this one and I might buy it
Love veto have several I don’t know if they can keep the same level of durability if they change material because of weight I would love to see a bag that weighs less and have the same durability.
Man im getting one as soon as they hit the market. Due to my bad back ive been touting around my tec pack mc backpack on a small milwaukee dolly you get from walmart for over a year now. It sux cause when i get to stairs i have to leave the dolly. As a Commercial hvac tech i can tell you theres always stairs or ladders
Dude you ain’t alone! I’m not 25 any more. I was ball player back in the day and my knees talk to me frequently. So as mature men we do what we gotta do. I have several portable and foldable 2 wheel hand truck/ dollies.
@@kingofthecrease30 but how much is your back and ability to move worth? Theres times i can hardly walk for weeks. Getting their backpack has been awesome but theres still times i have to wheel it around if im at a large complex for days at a time
@@joshuapoche5137 .. you are perfect for this Wheeler.. going around big areas for days. Yeah, either get this bag or a dedicated wheeler from Ridgid, Milwaukee etc
Thanks a lot for a video review, but i have a question. How you actually hoist or lift your "wheller" in/from the car by the telescopic handle or by the D rings like showing in the manual? I wanna buy this great backpack but uterrly not sure tt telescopic handle will withstand load like short lifts by the handle.
Someone asked me last week if veto make wheeled bags. Glad you've gotten around to doing it and excited to see what other wheeled options you come out with.
@@cesarmoore7996 I own about 7 veto bags. I have a pro pack backpack. It's very heavy by itself. So yeah. I've weighed it. Glad to see you whiteknighting Veto though. I'm sure their happy.
Stop complaining dude i can tell you that when my tech xl is full of tool i couldn't care less about the weight of the bag itself. Some wheels will help for sure .
Shoulder straps are not needed just do it as a wheeled bag... The tech pac is a backpack the wheeled bag should just be a wheeler. That tool storage on the front in my opinion should have the same configuration as the tech pac as standard but if you want to swap it out the option is there to change but on purchase keep it standard configuration 👌
So you are saying the rest of us need to find a way to keep yet another Tech Pac somewhere on our already packed trucks cause some do not want the shoulder straps on a wheeler? Screw that. We don't have endless storage for nothing but tool bags on our trucks. They can give you an option in the future with a Wheeler model just like this without the straps. Just like ordering your fast food without the toppings. I only use the wheels maybe 5% of the time only if I have to go inside a business the rest is 95% outdoor work hiking. I want both as others do!
Finally after 10 years you decide to listen to my request. I have been asking for this bad every year for 5 years straight since 2010. Now im in a role where im off the tools and so this has no use for me now. Should have been brought out years ago, disappointed for sure.👎🤦♂️

Looking forward to a tech XL wheeler!!!
I love the way Roger is just like any other contractor and just goes with the flow, He made Veto but is so normal with it
Please make a blackout version of this!!

I’ve been waiting two years for something like this!! Could do without the backpack straps, but I could definitely make good use of this.
They make the best tool bags on the planet! Bought mine 5 years ago after going through several random tool bags. Best purchase hands down!
Sold out everywhere. When will they be back in stock?

Honey it was mandatory that I get this! The company said we had to get it. They don’t want us taking days off with back pain! Lol
😂😂😂😂
Is a tech xl with wheel coming?
Thank you for these amazing bags!
looks like a great first go, I would like to see much bigger wheels for uneven ground often found onsite, a bit like the Milwaukee packout cart.

Hello from FRANCE ,thanks you Roger for this bag so hard top catch in France but i have one , hé is so stong and organazing it's perfect . Good by
My pro pack just came in today. Took a long time to get but I think it will be worth it. Thanks for the video
Can we expect a blackout version soon?
Make a blackout/red stripe model like the WIHA model with the black interior & fancy red handle just looks killer & sporty...

There have been many other rolling tool bag backpacks made by other companies long before Veto, but not to the same build quality.

I thought the same thing! I said to myself there goes “Mjolnir!”

Excellent tool bag. How much weight can that handle hold? Will it extend out with too much weight? Thanks.
Seems like has less pockets for your tools at least compared to my hi viz backpack
I have the hi-viz too and yesterday got the mc for every day most common jobs. if he makes a smaller version like the mc with wheels I'll buy it.
