I'm curious about comfort and balance on your back. I need to move around large facilities all day, often climbing access ladders, so I'm trying to figure out what would be most stable and comfortable with a relatively modest loadout. Mostly service commercial HVAC and rack refrigeration. Thanks for the videos!
Im looking into the tech pac mc as an install/change out bag. I got the MB5B during this years spring promo. I use the SB-LD as my main service bag. MB5B became a specialty bag for mini splits.
Thanks to a number of trades channels I watch, I discovered Veto bags this year, and really like them; enough that I may get around to putting some videos of my own for some of them on my channel. This was a nice look here. I'm going to try to wait, but may pick up a smaller meter bag for emergency car tools. If you have either the MB or MB2, will either or both fit a lithium jump-starter instead of a meter?
Great video as always, I'm happy to see that you listen to your viewers requests, definitely keep up the good work and I bet that this video will help someone out there that's deciding which bag to get.
If you buy the tester version of the MB5B, you get a little internal shelf that sits across the top using the slits in the sides of the bag, so you can have it at three different heights, although the very top one is awkward to get it in. I haven't seen the shelf available on its own.
Glad to see you do a comparison of my favorite bag! I have mine overloaded right now. Going to streamline it tomorrow while I am pulling a vacuum on my compressor changeout. Was thinking about on my way home tonight. I think I have it figured out. Good stuff brother!
The MB5B is my go to, there's a lot of ways to load it up for instance, the meter SC480 goes in one pouch then my Fieldpiece probes and pchycrometers go in the other. A M12 impact with a small battery fits in the bottom of the bag in that open space. Clamps, light and some sockets go in the big front pouch. Saw the MB5B at AHR Atlanta and had to have it.
How much cushion do the shoulder straps have? I need a new tool bag but it drives me nuts. This is the only option to put the meter on the outside basically. My meter is the first thing I grab to diagnose a problem.
Man, I had the same scenario when I tried transferring from an LC bag to the MB5B. I ended up loading the tools back in the LC bag just because the same amount of tools were too crammed in the MB5B. Eventually filled the MB5B with fewer tools but with a more multiple function use. Any excuse to acquire more tools. lol

I have noticed that larger backpacks feel better all around. Just don't fill them up to the max.

Great video I have the black bag but want to try the mb5b thanks for the info like always

I love the idea of the 2 sides but I think spinning the bag around constantly would drive me nuts haha

Which do you think is more practical MB5B or TP-XXL?

It's a good one
Thanks for the video. Still torn between tech pac mc and the mb5b. I appreciate you packing it full with tools.

Definitely a lot of options to place things

@nottoday2118 Cushion is good, I have a bad right shoulder and doesn't bother it much.
I have the TP-XL and have heard the tp-xxl with outside meter compartments are the best. This bag seems almost identical to the tp-xxl?
@jphvac5725 It is except for the compartment that closes with the zipper, think of it as a hybrid between the tech mct and the tp xxl.

Man I kinda wanted that bag to work. But no way after watching you load it out.
Good demo Adrian ... Nice bags ... Thx
Any updates on the bag? Is it worth it?
Can you give me the internal dimensions of the MC bag? I need to fit a hacksaw inside, 16” long.
Got the MB5B with promo as an EDC but found it kind of heavy empty went back to my Maxpeditions, from McAllen, Puro Buldogs!
Yo my cousins went to bulldogs 🤘🏽 I prefer smaller bags too
i thought both of these were supposed to be small back packs . why do they look huge beside you
Damn lol, now I want them both!
Tec pac looks way way 5x more attractive and sleek. Looks more sturdy, stronger, better handle…. Everything better
