That's a reasonable amount of stuff 👍. My tech pac is about 44 lbs and no longer functions as a backpack personally. That's OK with my I've have veto xl mcts many bags over the years and I've been happiest with my tech pac. I did get the orange high vis double pannel on the back along with the full double pannel for the front. Not doubling up tools into one pocket helps organization alot a place for everything. As a person who lugs a bag around that weight it's very doable 👍. Thanks for the bav update.
V sawp Modular tool pannel (it has hi bis orange) and v swap folio tool pannel for the blackout. If you check out Morgan's maintenance reload ep 24 you can check it out. I'm a little more electrical focused but it may interest you since I do alot of apartment maintenance.
You said multi buildings so each building has spare parts located on site or do you have to go to another site or purchase what you need for each job. Thanks for sharing ?
All that stuff in the side pockets is just flapping in the breeze. Falls right out if you go over a bump. The inside storage is nice but would be nicer if there were some hi-vis color inside to easily locate fallen stuff in lowest part.
Unfortunately, the corporate doesn’t see it the same way, doing apartments maintenance for many years there is no way appreciation how good you are in your job, you are a number for them, to be on call 24/7 and over time payment, there is no way for me I call this kind of job a professional worker (maintenance technician)..
The techs that accept the 24/7 oncall are the problem. If no one applies for those jobs, the 24/7 oncall stops. I know I would never even consider a position like that. Good luck
Ya, the hand tools are decent and if I lose one or two (which I will) I won't be upset. I keep my good hand tools at home for home repairs only (knipex and such)
I'm glad to hear you have some higher quality tools. I've always wondered if you were just stubborn and said these work I'm not changing it or you were holding out. Either way when that's how you make a living you deserve nice things. It also helps alot of the time they actually do thr job better aka grip not strip out screws ect.

I have 3x the stuff in the side of my tech pac and I've never lost anything.

I like Milwaukee power tools, but I found most of their hand tools to be not very good to say the least
