Great WIP parade Elaine. Great to see the progress you have made on the projects. We've had fireworks already. As you may remember Simba is now deaf , and him not being able to hear the fireworks is the only good thing out of that. Hi Elaine! So wonderful to see you for a WIP parade. It is currently 4 a.m. on New Years Day here in Texas and I am starting my Long Dog of 1 Down 3 Across which is being stitched on BeStitchMe Vampire Kiss (red and black mottled) with white and tan Etoile, then gold and white Diamant for stars and snowflakes. I will be posting a picture of it on IG once I get done stitching this morning. I seem to do my best stitching in the wee hours of the morning these days. I was supposed to be watching Walter for the evening so his parents could go play cards with some friends but the friend's son had to undergo emergency surgery and I am still sick. I am currently on my second round of antibiotics, this one different than the previous, stronger and for a longer period of time. If I am not better soon, then I have to go for a chest x-ray. The doctor said I have an antibiotic resistant form of Mycoplasma laryngopharyngitis but my pulse oximetry had dropped from my normal 98% to 93% so not moving air well so he is concerned about the possibility of me developing pneumonia. Been sick for about 10 days but my wonderful son-in-law and daughter brought Walter over for a visit because I had not seen him in a week and was craving a big juicy hamburger but no energy to cook, so they brought over the fixings and made us hamburgers for an early supper. It seems every time I go a week without seeing Walter that he has changed so much and grown another inch or 2. Your FFOs are brilliant! Well done! The progress on the WIPs is amazing but almost 37,000 stitches on Cheese Delivery is phenomenal! I am totally in awe of your work on that piece in particular, not to minimize the rest of your stitching numbers at all. Thank you for taking the time to share your beautiful and wonderful stitching with us. Happy and healthy 2023, and happy stitching!
