Thanks for a lovely wip parade ❤ So many gorgeous projects 😍 So excited to meet Bear he's so cute. Sorry to hear about the rust mark but I think it makes it more vintage so definitely dont give up with it! 🪡✂️🧵

Some lovely wips there Elaine. Don’t be afraid of the Chatelaine. I have 3 Chatelaine wips. Once you get started you’ll be amazed how rewarding they are. Just remember 1 stitch and 1 section at a time. They are truly stunning. Happy Stitching 🌸💞🌸

Great WIP parade, Elaine! Thanks for taking the time. Howard sounds like he's very pleased with himself, as usual. Always great to hear from him. Love seeing pictures of Bear! He'll be a gentle giant soon! Take care!

Love all your WIPs! Please don’t worry about all the noises, including Howard. I love hearing them. It makes me want to take a trip to the countryside. Great video. Take care!

Really enjoyed your mid year wip parade. So much beautiful stitching.
I think I would put a motif of some kind on your rust spot on your sampler piece
    Happy stitching 😊❤

Re the rust mark. Either stitch over it or, trying it out on a tiny corner of the fabric first you could try spraying the back of it with a tiny bit of citric acid, rub in a bit of table salt and then after a few minutes rinse from the back with cold water water holding it so the rust flows away from any stitching. But as it’s overdyed it is a bit risky….what a nuisance. Bear is so cute! Lovely to see all your projects.

Good to see you and you WIP's😃. And yes I would love to see your new member of the family. Bear♥️.Have you tried white vinegar or lemon? It's a bit awkward as it's hand dyed fabric. Enjoy Bear. He'll soon be grown so he's more important than stitching(no haters please) . Take care🤗

Hope there is no haters. I took a long break from stitching when I got my two pups as was more fun cuddling and playing with them. Easier to cuddle and stitch at same time now they've gotten past the initial phase 😊

    Hello Elaine,
I love a WIP parade too!
Got to say though we do obviously love to see you, when you said you weren’t going to show Pup because it was a WIP parade I’m sure I heard a collective sad sigh.😂😂😂❤️

Beautiful stitching! Don't feel bad about your Mill Hill kit - I have one that's about 1 1/2 yrs old, but I'm waiting for it to be called on my WIPGO board. I just ordered the Polar Mandala from Chatelaine... 😳 Hope I didn't bite off more than I can chew! Can't wait to meet your puppy!

Great video. Love to see your wips. Was hoping Bear would wake up so we could have a peek 😊 could you stitch over the rust mark that will be exposed in a floss the same colour as the fabric? But it mark will add to its sense of authenticity so I wouldn't worry too much about it if it was me.

The rust issue. The chart shows an inner border. Space it out or add a row to each border colour to cover it. It will just make the finished area a little longer. Love your WIPS. Other option is to start the motif on the rust spot and adjust the border above it smaller by rows

Such an enabler _ thanks😊 salt and vinegar takes rust off copper pennies might try shouldn't hurt the fabric but test in the margin.

course we want to see your new puppy, i love a wip parade, as for the rust mark wait until you get near it then see if you can cover it with a motif , you are definitely gone too far to abandon it you can cover it it will be grand these things happen.

Could you remove the affected area and make a repair using threads from the edge like you would do if you accidentally cut a thread?
