Loving your work - as a fellow Fiesta ST150 owner it's great to see new content. Agree with other comments UPOL UV resistant lacquer would finish these off nicely on a keyed 3000grit sanded surface. Give it a go!
Loving the channel mate! Its harder than it looks starting a new channel and trying to build from it.I was in the same situation that lockdown finally pushed me to create mine too! keep it up
Thanks man 🤜🏻🤛🏻 it’s been challenging but loving every minute of it. Looks like you’re doing well buddy, I’ma sub up and check it out, got a soft spot for a Polo 😏
Done this to my lights, if you sprayed the headlights with a UV resistant lacquer after sanding and before polish they would of came out mint, enjoying the vids 👍
Cheers mate. I used the proper kit on my Honda in the past and that worked a treat, I just tried to bodge it this time with what I had in my shed. I’ll get the kit soon
Hey man, got myself a mark 6 recently and been binging your st150 vids (which are absolutely amazing). Done the bonnet struts today and my bonnet when completely closed seems to have sunken about a couple centimetres. Couldn't find much anywhere about this. Any ideas?
hi, can you please share why the gear lever gets hard to shift when the car gets warm/hot. this seems to be the same issue in my car - 1.6 duratec petrol, especially when driving in slow (bumper to bumper traffic) or when standing at idle for some time.
They came back into stock very briefly but sold out within a day I believe. I saw someone post a comment on Facebook saying “does anyone have a Mountune discount code” which prompted me to check if they’d restocked them and they had! So I bought one quick and checked the following day and they’d all sold out. You can sign up to a mailing list on the site to notify you when they’re back in stock.
It’s hard to say, I only fitted the mountune after replacing the gearbox and ever since i did the box the gears having been amazing, I don’t think I got the cables sitting quite right but it’s never cause me enough of an issue to look into it.
Oh really? It says 20% shorter on the website. The shift on it still feels pretty stiff so I think it’s either the box I put in or I routed the cables wrong when we fitted it. It was an absolute mess in there, swear the engine has been out and potentially been replaced 🙃
@@MendItModIt yeah they say 20% but it’s mainly for lightened purposes as it pretty much a remake of the standard arm just lighter and thinner so you won’t get much out of it I’m sure you could probably add a short throw kit to it as people make them to the standard arm,the problem with these bays they’re messy anyways just a lot of gear crammed into a small space just have to take your time with your routing and did you grease the arm before fitting?
I did think about using one of those little short throw attachments on the Mountune arm but I’ve heard they can be dodgy even on the standard arm. Yeah I made sure to grease it up.
Great video as always, your editing definitely improving as well!
Thanks bro, appreciate the feedback 😁

Hola donde has comprado los amortiguadores del capo ?
Liking the videos, watched all on the ST.. If you love your car you may want to use the 2 bucket method to clean it lol 😉
I normally do I was just in a rush this time. The body work is battered anyway and it’s getting wrapped soon 😂
Interesting videos! Nice work with the editing
Thanks mate, I’m well happy with this one

Where do you get the top mount cover caps from?
do like the bonnet struts. thats a future mod once ive got loads of other bits done. Probably 12 months time haha
They’re class mate, make such a difference when I have to check under the bonnet to find out what’s broken or leaking this time 😂😂
Mountune parts have been sold out on the st150 for weeks? How did you manage to get hold of this?
They came back into stock very briefly but sold out within a day I believe. Do you prefer the feel of the old one drilled out or the Mountune one?

Loving the videos.. I have the same car and as a project 😁
Did you use a cutting compound on the lights or just a normal polish?
I just used some polish I had in the shed. Seen others use it but it didn’t work as well for me so I’m going to get the proper kit soon.
@@MendItModIt will make such a difference with the proper kit, will get that haze appearance gone
Are you able to share the numbers written on the side of the gas struts?
Drop me a message on Instagram mate
@@MendItModIt Ouch. Not on Instagram... FB? Email?
Try toothpaste that has soda in it for the headlights way cheaper and it works, gotta love them bonnet struts 👍
Cheers mate I’ll give it a try 👍🏻
Meguires headlight kit works great also
It’s not designed to make the throw shorter bud it’s to make the shift feel lighter and faster great video as always though mate 👊🏻😁

@@MendItModIt ahh I see haven’t really looked into it that much and that’s strange possibly the cable routing then mate
You need to slow your videos down so people can see what you're doing properly
