1st off, pic shows power cable not negative. Red is always power omg.
On my car red is connected to negative and black on positive
My ford truck has a red gable on ground ad black on positive it fooled ounce trying to give a just start to a friend’s car?
Well a positive connection would make it a bad ground for negative ground cable

I had my negative cable to my battery sever off of the chassis on its own. I’m pretty sure it’s because it overheated and melted off of the thing or cut itself off from it but I’m not sure let me know when the comments.
Always i connect pozitive batery i see sparks

Question… my clamp on battery cable is broke but hanging in there… can it make my alternator go??

It can kill your battery, but the alternator should always charge until it doesn’t even if what it’s supposed to charge isn’t getting the charge. It’s cheap, & surely you can find somebody to do a minor repair for you if you don’t want to try it. Even a shop would be under 100 dollars. New terminals only are about 15-25 depending what kind you get. Instal would be one hour.

Your video is contrdictory... you describe the negatve cable as having a Black insolación. Then you show a red cable while describing problems with the negstive ground. !???@@!!!
