It’s weird to think of them as other than complete killing machines, but after the second or third film in the franchise they didn’t wanna spring it on people that they could be normal, and I doubt the newer alien movies were canon when the first was made. Makes it cool watching the first, being aware that they’re just an intelligent extraterrestrial victim in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Regardless, in movie canon (can’t say much about others), the Xenos seem to lack projection and mass mental simulation: the human colony had been wiped completely except for Newt. Even if the Colonial Marines didn’t show up, the Xenos would’ve starved to death within a few weeks since they had no more food sources
As far as the Alien communicating. It was done better in the Sea of sorrows audio drama. In that you follow a descendent of Ripley who is an empath and he conveys the thoughts and feelings of the Aliens, from their devotion to their hive and even their hatred of Ripley who they can recognize the scent from the protagonist. That actually gave you an idea of how they actually think.
Still trying to figure out how they recognize Ripley's scent when she's an ancestor not even a grandmother, shits been YEARS. If my ancestors did something to piss off Xenomorphs and I found out, I'm sending a message to any family if I have any and checking out of this reality real quick.

I love this game, but I somehow managed to softlock it. I carried a required item into an elevator, but put it down on the ground so I could fight a horde of xenomorphs, and forgot to pick it back up. When I changed floors, it was gone, and it wasn't back on the original floor either - just completely gone. I couldn't complete the objective.
Most real fans don't need to be told, but if anyone is interested in media involving a talking Xenomorph, try the comic Aliens: Stronghold. Admittedly, it is an android with no ill intentions toward humans, but that's probably the closest we'll get to a talking xenomorph.

Mostly because chestbuster is a part of him and keeps host alive while growing. It's not a parasite growing iside, it's a mutagenic agent is building the chestbuster out of host's body material. Lore states that in early stages it can be removed, but removal of mature growth usually kills the host anyway, as they get catastrophic immune system response.

The funny thing is, when I was in junior high school, I had written a "script" for an Alien movie where there were Alien Xenomorphs that communicated and were actual ambassadors. Its funny to see a sort of version of that happening years later in a video game.

I love this game, but I somehow managed to softlock it. Because him being a Xenomorph... he's got two mouths you know... he should be able to sing from both of them at the same time. Not many people can do that.

The funny thing is, when I was in junior high school, I had written a "script" for an Alien movie where there were Alien Xenomorphs that communicated and were actual ambassadors. Its funny to see a sort of version of that happening years later in a video game.

If he shoots right-handed, then the hose should go over his left shoulder. Otherwise, he should shoot left-handed. They ALWAYS overlook details like that in movies and video games. That's why we see right-handed characters wearing left-handed gas masks and whatnot. Yes, gas masks can be set up in left-handed configuration (filter offset to the right).
