These are truly wonderful films, authentic images of rural life. A day of great unity for all members of the village together is truly meaningful. Thank you for bringing these wonderful images to the community. I wish you and the members of the village good health, happiness, and always have smiles on your lips. I wish anyone who watches the video, anyone who reads these lines will have immediate joy.

Jesus Christ is God and you can call on Him, He died for everyone's sins so that if they believe on Him they can have eternal life, and time is short because He is coming back for His children, those who believed in Him and repented of their sins and had a real relationship with Him, and He wants a relationship with you, there is no other God but Him, He made all things, even your soul He crafted in your mothers womb because He loves you and cares for you, if you seek Him you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart, God is not far, He is near the brokenhearted, God bless you

This was literally one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed. I’m so grateful that you have shared this with us the respect and honor the community and love the reverence and peace that I viewed in this video. I’ve never witnessed before it’s tradition and I wish every one around the world was like this, since becoming an elder in my family as I am now a grandmother, my main goal is to pass down traditions, respect and honor to my grandson so that he may pass those things down as he gets older has children and then grandchildren thank you for sharing this with me. I write this, and tears not from sadness from joy of what I’ve witnessed many blessings to you and your entire village
This was absolutely amazing and so beautiful. It made me cry. The way your village honors traditions is admirable. It so wonderful to watch you all unite as one unit to give and receive thanks and blessings, is so inspiring. Thank you for sharing your stories and traditions with us. I genuinely appreciate your work. May our creator continue to bless and inspire you with good health and creativity. 🫶🏼
The whole village is like a big family. They gather together, bound together sharing food, worshiping the god and commemorating the ancestors. What a picture!
Penji-even though I have watched you for years, I have never thanked you for sharing your life and village with me. I’m so happy you decided to move back home.
I read a lot of Chinese novels and I have come across the different facinating festivals you celebrate. Thank for sharing a piece of your culture to us.
this was so beautiful. idk how i unsubscribed to your channel but I had watched for years, I found it again and restarted with this video. Frequently i'm brought to tears by the examples of family and community you've shown that I just don't experience where I live. thank you for sharing this all ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful tradition with the world. You help me to realize how much goodness, love, and richness is shared and nurtured. You inspire us all! I am so grateful for your generous spirit and all of your efforts!
Love how they are capable of maintaining these beautiful, sacred traditional customs throughout thousands of years. I believe that traditions and cultures are the roots and the foundation that defines who we are among billions of human beings. I'm touched watching this video, it reminds me of my hometown in Vietnam; we also honor our ancestors by conducting sacred ceremonies; there are some differences between the two cultures certainly. However, I treasure the meaning of these ceremonies and hope that the essence of cultures will be preserved for thousands more

In india too we celebrate a tradition called "Pitru Paksh" during this time of the year. We believe that for 15 days, our ancestors come down to be with us and bless us. We make all kinds of offerings and dishes that they may have loved to eat when they were living among us. Once that is over, immediately begins Navratri, where the Universal Feminine energy or the Goddess is worshipped and revered. Even Mexicans celebrate "Dia de Los Muertos" where they honor their acestors through rituals and traditions. How far apart we all are, yet so similar in culture.
@@bigsunshinesmile ask for blessings from the ones before us to then ask for blessings for future generations with Navrati? Like that, or did I get the wrong end of the stick
Thank you so much for sharing such a precious piece of the culture of your Yunnan people. It is humbling to reflect on the many generations of your ancestors that must have carried out this tradition in the past.
As am from karnataka Bengaluru seeing this whole ceremony it literally felt like the same festival more like offerings to our dead loved onces with all the food they love its basically called as pitrupaksha (Pitri Paksha)(Is a 16-lunar day period in the Hindu calendar when Hindus pay homage to their ancestors, especially through food offerings.)non veg in the sense though we r in different countrys we still have some same rituals in common not totally but few which we love to appreciate thank you so much for letting us knw about your cultures hope all our loved once are at peace ☺️❤🙇♀️

Thankyou for sharing your culture with us viewers. It's wonderful seeing the village help each other to keep your culture and tradition alive for the next generation. It's beautiful to see everyone gathering and sharing one meal together
Love from India. We also used to cook food and offer them by putting food on the roof of our house for crows to eat for our ancestors and in return pray for their blessings.
May the village and its people be blessed for another year, may the harvests be plenty, may fortune be multiplied, may everyone enjoy good health, and may misfortune and illness be averted.
