Trying to hardwire my police scanner. Can’t I use the grey 12 pin connector? Or I need the 10 pin connector? Also what colors are the positive and ground wires?

Nice video, worked perfectly on my 2019 Prius. Took maybe 4min and the cover snapped back on the same way it was removed (reverse the process).
