What is happening to your scoring? In the cases you say Samsung is better, you give iPhone the higher number and vice versa. 100x zoom goes to Samsung, you give it to the iPhone. Then iPhone is praised for better selfies and get +4 as opposed to Samsungs +5. Many inaccuracies.

I like this channel and i am not bias at all towards Samsungs but there is some very big inconsistencies with your reviews this time around. Most of the time whenever Apple does worse it is given just a 1 point less than Samsung yet when the opposite happens (note, im talking about the times when it is clearly said that the picture is not that bad) a 2 point less was given , which seems like there is a sumbtle favoritism towards Apple. There was also a huge issue at the zoom test that flipped the whole score, where it was stated that to achieve that zoom level a crop had to be done yet Apple gets the additional point despite not being abble to achieve that zoom? Dont get me wrong , i know the picture of Samsung aint that much better , but its a Zoom category, and being able to get to x100 despite the pictures being equally bad is nonsensical to not assign the extra point to Samsung (not even saying the fact that despite the wide range of flexibility in zoom you still assign the win to Apple). Plus as another user stated, some pictures were suspiciously worse than what most users get.

But they and most commenters only pointed out the mistake they made for the Samsung one where almost no one mentioned the mistake they made for the apple one when they said the iphone selfie was better but the Samsung received more points than the iphone. They did that too in zoom test where samsung won and still point went with apple. In this night photo she said samsung had a better sharpening so that still justifies the point.

For example, the “Zoom” category has a 5% weight, but the scores are around 20, whereas in the “Main” category, there’s a 20% weight but only around 15 points. Typically, the percentage weight is multiplied by the score, and then all the results are added to get the final score. In this case, I notice an imbalance in the overall weighting. To exaggerate my point, if "Zoom" has a 5% weight but a score of 100, it will end up having a significant impact on the final score. I tested both the 16 pro max and s24 ultra at the store many days ago and I still think the s24 ultra is way more fun to use like my s23 ultra. The s pen w gestures and sound effects , multi tasking, open operating system, way better display lightyears ahead corning glass no reflections, good lock, customizable ring tones to songs for free , emulation at a higher level w no limitations, Samsung TV ecosystem etc . I'll wait for the s25 ultra. I think Xiaomi , Huawei, Honor, Google, Red Magic, and Samsung are far ahead in innovation. For me I left Apple years ago because it has too many limitations in comparison. For me I can't live without beinf able to download anything, edge panel and copy and paste clipboard, stylus support, no foldables etc but some things like imessage and consistent video quality, AI personal voice and iTunes few things here and there are implemented well but android is just more fun for me these days.
Some interesting results here. I'd say the iphone actually performs a bit better in low light, but the S24U totally smashes the iphone in zoom from 3x upwards. Samsung has a 3x lens, where the iphone is deep into digital zoom and at 5x is higher resolution, maintaining the lead beyond 5x.
While zoom can be useful sometimes, IPhone processing is better (skin tones, color accuracy, dynamic range). Samsung is still overexposed, oversaturated with a bit too much magenta going on.
They're very important. They're just very biased towards apple. Because apple doesn't have the zoom capabilities, they don't want to give praise, or in this case, points to the deserving brand. 🥴

The disabled scene optimizer would be a big disadvantage for the S24U, it may capture less saturated colors, but it makes HDR work greatly affected. If it is deactivated, the highlights look completely burned out, which does not happen when it is activated. It's a very big difference.
@Aj-wz8oe it's not about "True nature" of an image, all phones process images the camera takes to create an picture of what the sensor sees. It's just so happens that android and Samsung usually have more customization options. And also the option to reduce the processing effects, which s beneficial for other aspects of photography and videography.
why in every photo Samsung look like washed pic but in mine it looks good well lit in my camera test. I also see some kind of redness in Samsung photos does the camera processing differ from region?? Time to switch to sony A6700 :)
I'm questioning that as well. My photos look great, yet on videos such as these, somehow the photos on Samsung look washed out. Tbh, it wouldn't surprise me if somehow they intentionally found a way to purposely take bad photos. This isn't the first time this has happened.

Watching on samsung displays gives more vibrant images. You need to watch images on an ips display or a color accurate display to notice actual camera performance.

After 11 years as a dedicated Android user, I recently switched to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I was eager to try iOS and see what the iPhone experience was all about. But to be honest, I’m not impressed. iOS feels extremely limiting in terms of both functionality and speed. The animations are beautiful, but the system just feels slower overall. The keyboard is a disappointment, and the touch sensitivity doesn't measure up to Android’s smooth response. On the bright side, I do like the Dynamic Island feature, and the cameras are decent, though I ran into an issue many might not expect: when taking photos through Snapchat, the resolution is capped at just 2MP, both front and back, resulting in blurry, low-quality images. My Vivo X100, in comparison, captures much higher-resolution photos on Snapchat. The one standout feature, though, is the battery life. It’s honestly incredible. As a heavy user, I used to charge my Vivo X100 twice a day. With this iPhone, even on a single charge capped at 80%, it easily lasts the entire day with 10-15% battery left! I’ve never seen battery life this good on any device before. For now, I’d say the iPhone experience is interesting, especially if you’re new to iOS, but it doesn’t feel worth it for me. I’m already planning to switch to the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra when it’s out. Luckily, iPhones hold their resale value well, so it’ll be easy to sell and make the switch!
This is a clever channel that knows how to get people commenting. More points were assigned to some areas of camera performance than others, which is a big mistake in my opinion, and gives the 'This video is biased' crowd plenty of ammunition . I respect the ladies opinions though, even if I did not agree with all of them. It is good that people feel so passionately about their brand that they defend it vigorously and call foul when they feel it is being cheated. It would be a sad thing if the comments sections of videos like this remained empty.

It’s a tough choice because I want the best possible performance in both photos and videos on a smartphone. However, everywhere I turn, people keep telling me that the iPhone is the king of video, while the Pixel is the king of photography. It’s frustrating. Why isn’t there a device that excels at both, outperforming everyone else? It feels like each brand is perfecting only one area, leaving consumers like me having to compromise when what we really want is an all-in-one solution.

SOMETIMES I FEEL too many people are being paid, even if not paid some people feel viewers might not like it if they say bad things about iPhones. Beware, in reality it's different and also s24 is a year back. I use an iPhone 15 and it's backwards in terms of tech, weaker internet speed, refresh rate and a whole lot.... IT'S VERY TRUE, WHY ARE MOST TH-camRS saying good things about iPhones? For the video comparison, it's difference is too small in reality when I compared myself......
The samsung gives you a natural picture of how you really look while the iphone tricks you into thinking that you're beautiful therefore you give more points to the iphone due to sweet selfie algorithm.

For me,in this video images have been voted by taking sides towards apple.Yes,i agree that samsung's video is not better especially when it comes to exposure.But,when samsung's image is worse,you vote by 2 points less and when apple does the same,you only subtract 1 point.in addition,both sometimes do magenta tone on the skin with different scenes.But for some reason,in apple you ignore it and for samsung,again,2 points less.
Actually these 2 phones are beast equally. iPhone and Samsung both are excellent in their own platform. So this is totally a personal choice. If you are a apple fanboy then go for it and if you are a Galaxy fanboy than go for it

I don't know why the photos on your comparison had this much of differences . Galaxy S24U doesn't click that much of washed out photos and also it actually does better in shadow controlling more than iPhone 16pm
Whats the point of such long videos when you clearly see the reviewer drooling over iphone. Even the tie that you claim in zoom shows biasedness towards your apple. No way does the iphone and samsung tie in quality at extended zoom but then its your channel so might possibly give apple extra points for AI Camera features when they dont even exist

Samsung used to be great on edge detection, it’s a mess. Noise and over sharpening. Darkening video when bright exposure is present is so mid range behaviour
Where is the night mode photography section? Like actually outside in the dark. And in the zoom part, you never show 3x, where Samsung has the advantage... Also in portrait shots you should have compared the photos from all lenses... Clearly an Apple biased channel

Why is zoom less important than portraits? It might be less important for you and your makeup! You can tweek your portrait in post but if your device don t have the zoom capabilities you can t do anything! (Unless you have a pixel and activate zoom emhance) 😬

On the bright side, I do like the Dynamic Island feature, and the cameras are decent, though I ran into an issue many might not expect: when taking photos through Snapchat, the resolution is capped at just 2MP, both front and back, resulting in blurry, low-quality images. My Vivo X100, in comparison, captures much higher-resolution photos on Snapchat.
The one standout feature, though, is the battery life. It’s honestly incredible. As a heavy user, I used to charge my Vivo X100 twice a day. With this iPhone, even on a single charge capped at 80%, it easily lasts the entire day with 10-15% battery left! I’ve never seen battery life this good on any device before.
For now, I’d say the iPhone experience is interesting, especially if you’re new to iOS, but it doesn’t feel worth it for me. I’m already planning to switch to the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra when it’s out. Luckily, iPhones hold their resale value well, so it’ll be easy to sell and make the switch!
This is a clever channel that knows how to get people commenting. More points were assigned to some areas of camera performance than others, which is a big mistake in my opinion, and gives the 'This video is biased' crowd plenty of ammunition . I respect the ladies opinions though, even if I did not agree with all of them. It is good that people feel so passionately about their brand that they defend it vigorously and call foul when they feel it is being cheated. It would be a sad thing if the comments sections of videos like this remained empty.

SOMETIMES I FEEL too many people are being paid, even if not paid some people feel viewers might not like it if they say bad things about iPhones. Beware, in reality it's different and also s24 is a year back. I use an iPhone 15 and it's backwards in terms of tech, weaker internet speed, refresh rate and a whole lot.... IT'S VERY TRUE, WHY ARE MOST TH-camRS saying good things about iPhones? For the video comparison, it's difference is too small in reality when I compared myself......

The samsung gives you a natural picture of how you really look while the iphone tricks you into thinking that you're beautiful therefore you give more points to the iphone due to sweet selfie algorithm.

For me,in this video images have been voted by taking sides towards apple.Yes,i agree that samsung's video is not better especially when it comes to exposure.But,when samsung's image is worse,you vote by 2 points less and when apple does the same,you only subtract 1 point.in addition,both sometimes do magenta tone on the skin with different scenes.But for some reason,in apple you ignore it and for samsung,again,2 points less.

Apple does a good job on white faces but whenever there are brown and darker shades Samsung does a better job.
Actually these 2 phones are beast equally. iPhone and Samsung both are excellent in their own platform. So this is totally a personal choice. If you are a apple fanboy then go for it and if you are a Galaxy fanboy than go for it

Whats the point of such long videos when you clearly see the reviewer drooling over iphone. Even the tie that you claim in zoom shows biasedness towards your apple. No way does the iphone and samsung tie in quality at extended zoom but then its your channel so might possibly give apple extra points for AI Camera features when they dont even exist

Samsung used to be great on edge detection, it’s a mess. Noise and over sharpening. Darkening video when bright exposure is present is so mid range behaviour

Why is zoom less important than portraits? It might be less important for you and your makeup! You can tweek your portrait in post but if your device don t have the zoom capabilities you can t do anything! (Unless you have a pixel and activate zoom emhance) 😬
